If an area can be identified, do you see the idea of a greenway\bikeway connecting downtown with Hammonton Lake Park as something that should actively pursued? (Note: Limited space available, shared roadways is likely to encompass a majority of a network) Yes ____ No ____ A good amount of the land in Hammonton is located with in Wharton State Forest. There seems as if there is a lack of connection between the main part of town and this great expanse of passive open space. Do you feel that some type of access point or entrance way into the forest should be actively pursued with the State’s Division of Parks and Forestry to create a known connection between Wharton State Forest and the Town? Yes ____ No ____ Is there a growing need to create flexible facilities that would provide areas for alternative activities and sports such as skateboarding, inline skating, etc? Do you think that a request to the state should be made by the town to explore alternatives to provide better access to both the conservation area and the lake (via the conservation area)?
