In addition to a $1.68 million signing bonus, Okung received a $2 million roster bonus and will earn a $320,000 base salary in 2010. The Seahawks may elect to pay Okung a guaranteed $10 million salary advance after the 2010 season, which would reduce his base salaries to $900,000 (2011), $1.48 million (2012), $2.06 million (2013), $2.64 million (2014), and $3.22 million (2015). These base salaries are fully guaranteed, as is $5.5 million in easily attainable base salary escalators between the 2011 and 2012 seasons.
An additional $17.2 million in non-guaranteed base salary escalators are available in 2014 and 2015 that are tied to playing-time percentages and team/personal achievement qualifiers. Okung has a $5 million one-time bonus which can be earned with minimum playing-time and a team or personal qualifier, and another $1 million in workout bonuses are available from 2011 through 2015.

AP: The Seattle Seahawks moved to close a gap at wide receiver, acquiring Ricky Proehl from the Arizona Cardinals in exchange for a fourth-round draft choice.
Clare Farnsworth, Seattle Post-Intelligencer: the club is attempting to restructure the three-year, $2.8 million contract the veteran wide receiver signed last year after he was obtained in a trade with the Arizona Cardinals… Proehl will accept a reduction in his base salary of $750,000 this season, if he is given the opportunity to make up the difference in incentives… Last year, Proehl received a $750,000 signing bonus and a base salary of $550,000, but then broke his leg and was limited to eight games and only five receptions.
Clare Farnsworth, Seattle Post-Intelligencer: Proehl signed a restructured two-year contract yesterday that lowers his base salary for this season from $750,000 to $500,000, but gives him the opportunity to make up the difference with incentive clauses for playing time and number of receptions… Proehl's new deal also includes a clause that prevents the team from asking him to take a similar pay cut next season, when he is scheduled to make $750,000. Proehl originally signed a three-year, $2.8 million contract last year after he was obtained in a trade with the Arizona Cardinals.
