Interface Point CountExDesc Keyword: [UI_POINTCOUNT] Update Interval: On startup, on change, and shutdown. Description: Counts number of PI tags loaded by the interface. This count includes all input, output and triggered input tags. This count does NOT include any Interface Health tags or performace points. IO RateExDesc Keyword: [UI_IORATE] Update Interval: Based on heartbeat tag update. Description: Counts number of all values (inputs, outputs, triggered inputs) being sent to PI before exception processing occurs. This tag will update based on the the update rate of the heartbeat tag and may report zero for update intervals where no data was sent to PI. If the value stops updating in PI then this is an indication that the interface has stopped collecting data. Message CounterExDesc Keyword: [UI_MSGCOUNT] Update Interval: Every 60 Seconds. Description: The Message Counter tag keeps track of the number of messages the interface has logged to the pipc.log file since interface start-up. The value of this tag is used solely for ad-hoc queries and diagnostics. It is a general rule-of-thumb that if the interface is logging a large number of messages, there is probably a problem that should be investigated. Output RateExDesc Keyword: [UI_OUTPUTRATE] Update Interval: Based on heartbeat tag update interval and each performance summary interval. Description: Counts number of output tag events that are sent to PI before exception processing. Output tags update based on some event and cannot be scheduled for an update rate. Therefore, the value of these tags will be updated at the same rate as the heartbeat tag and will reset after the performance summary interval.
