A bed sensor may have been installed on your bed to monitor the pattern and quality of your sleep. The sensor is a plastic mat which will have been placed under your bed mattress. The sensor is connected by a cable to a small control unit which is plugged into a mains socket. Please leave the control unit powered on at all times.
The control unit communicates information from the Bed Sensor wirelessly to the SAPHE Set-Top Box.
No interaction is required with the Bed Sensor or its control unit.

To measure your weight simply stand centrally on the scales and follow the spoken instructions.
The scales will first ask you to “Please stand still”, then after a few seconds you will be asked to “Please step off the scale”. A few seconds after you have stepped off the scales your weight in kilograms will be displayed on the scales and also spoken out.
Ideally, it is best to weigh yourself at a similar time of day each time and with similar clothing on (such as pyjamas) or without clothing.
To take a blood pressure measurement please refer to the directions given below.
Please note that the arm cuff is worn by first placing your arm into the loop of the cuff as shown here:
Insert an image of arm going into cuff.
If the arm cuff does not fit within the proper fit range marked on the cuff as shown below, please do not use the blood pressure monitor and report the problem to your Community Matron.
