MOTOR SHOW 2015 in numbers

200 exhibitors

12 halls and the outdoor area

50,000 sqm of exhibition space

68 new automotive products

2 concept cars

113,337 visitors
Car Exhibition

For years, it has enjoyed the greatest popularity of the visitors. This year, it was
full of new products that arrived to Poznań straight from Geneva. Dozens of car premières, including concepts, delighted tens of thousands of four wheels fans. The success of the Exhibition is primarily the presence of the leaders of global brands
and their involvement in the preparation of fantastic exhibitions. With their involvement, the first day of the Fair, elegantly referred to as the PRESS DAY, was full of press conferences, during which the Polish premières of such brands as for example: Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, Skoda, Seat, Mercedes, Jaguar, Land Rover, DS, Hyundai, Toyota, KIA, Nissan, Rolls-Royce, Maserati, BMW, Aixam, Renault or Chatenet took place.

Motorcycle Exhibition

It looked truly impressive thanks to such exhibitors as Harley-Davidson, BMW, Romet, Piaggio, Vespa, Gilera, ASP Group, Triumph, Modeka, KTM, Yamacha, Kawasami, Lidor, Kaliński, Quady Śrem, Parts Europe or Junak. Free parking for two-wheeler owners was
a real convenience for all fans of motorcycles.

4th edition of Caravanning Exhibition

It appeared on the Motor Show map in 2012, and it grows in strength with each year edition. This year's Exhibition, which occupied the entire surface area of Hall 3, included the offer of several dozens of leading exhibitors, such as for example: 2N Everpol, Allcamp Domic, Balcamp, Benimar, Camp Rent, Caravans

Mika, Cargo, Dometic Poland, Ebac, Elcamp, Klaja-Bracia Świat Caravaningu, MTM, Multiface, Polkamper, FHU Rybczyńscy, S-Camp, Centrum Campingowe Smolicz and Grupa Wadowscy and Waldi. Once again, it was accompanied by the Caravanning Rally, in the form of a living caravanning town, which attracted dozens of the enthusiasts of houses on wheels.

MOTOR SHOW AWARDS

For the second time already, a special contest was organized, the jury of which was composed of the eminent Polish automotive journalists: Adam Kornacki – TVN Turbo, Szymon Dziawer – Motogen.pl, Lech Potyński – Świat Motocykli, Stanisław Sewastianowicz – Auto Świat, Szymon Sołtysik – Top Gear, Martin Śliwa – Moto.pl, Piotr Wielgus – Flota, Juliusz Szalek – Auto Motor i Sport, Jakub Bielak – TVN Turbo, Włodzimierz Zientarski – automotive journalist and Mariusz Łowicki – Ścigacz.pl. The competition is of a specific nature, as the sole criterion for selecting the award winner is a subjective opinion not only on the model of a car or motorcycle, but also on the entire range of products associated
with the automotive industry. In addition, the number of the awards is equal to the number of the jury members. This year, there were eleven members in the jury, so as many as eleven exhibitors received the Motor Show Awards title.
And here are the results. Adam Kornacki awarded Audi Q7 – for discrete implementation of changes. Kuba Bielak's award went into the hands of Ford Mustang – for maintaining the spirit of old cars. Lech Potyński opted for the Indian company for their Scout model. Szymon Dziawer – awarded Vespa 46 for its peculiar beauty. Mariusz Łowicki nominated the V Force company for the EBR model. Włodzimierz Zientarski awarded the Boanerges Christian Motorcycle Club for the Motorcyclists' Bible. Martin Śliwa gave the award to Porsche for Cayman GT4. Stanisław Sewastianowicz voted for Renault for the Espace model. Szymon Sołtysik gave the award to Nissan for the Sway model. Piotr Wielgus awarded the SEAT Leon ST CUPRA model for the combination of sports and fleet characteristics, and Juliusz Szalek voted for Audi A3 e-tron for their approach to new drives. Grand Prix Motor Show Award, which is a prize awarded by the entire jury, was granted this year to Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie for its existence and the fact that they had taken the effort to organize Motor Show. MTP was also awarded for the fact that after a short 'slump in form,' it revived and today it may be easily referred to as little Geneva.

Competitions

Motor Show is also an opportunity to win valuable prizes and to demonstrate one's knowledge and skills in the field of car mechanics. Once again, the Show was accompanied by:

National Championship for Mechanics

which is a test of knowledge and skills for Young Mechanics, and the students of
automotive schools. During the Fair, Motor Show brought together 60 young mechanics who gained the greatest number of points in the Mobil 1 test. The finalists took part in the practical competitions in Poznań under the supervision of Włodzimierz Zientarski and the Practical Skills Academy. 30 out of over 500 registered teams arrived to Poznań. The young mechanics competed in 11 disciplines. The practical tasks coincided with the service operations that are performed by mechanics during their daily work in service stations. Damian Siwek and Kamil Hryć from the Complex of Upper Secondary Schools in Radzyń Podlaski became the winners of the 4th Championships for Mechanics.

National Automotive Knowledge Tournament

It is aimed at the students of automotive schools, for whom the use of modern diagnostic and control devices is just a piece of cake. On the second day of the Fair, under the auspices of Kuba Bielak, the final of the 21st National Automotive Knowledge Tournament

was held, in which the students of the Complex of Automotive Schools in Gdańsk triumphed. This year's competition was participated by 280 students of 58 vocational and technical schools from across Poland. The first place in the category of technical schools was won by Robert Klawikowski from the Complex of Automotive Schools in Gdańsk. Paweł Dończyk, who turned out to be the best among the students of vocational schools, is a pupil of the same Complex of Schools. As a result of the greatest number of points gathered, Robert was awarded the main prize – free admission to the Poznan University of Technology

Super Moto 2014

For the second time already, as part of Motor Show, the Super Moto 2014 contest, organized by the Głos Wielkopolski magazine, was held. More than 90,000 votes were cast in the Super Moto contest, and, by the decision of the magazine readers, the title of the Dealer of the Year 2014 in the Wielkopolska region was awarded to Polody. The results of the competition organized by Głos Wielkopolski were announced at the Fair, during which the title of the Dealer of the Year 2014 was awarded.
