Here are some end of term questions which will widen students’ cultural knowledge! I sometimes do them as a team game with advanced groups, e.g. in the UK “University Challenge” style (with a starter question – first on the buzzer, followed by four extra questions where the team can confer. If the questions seem too hard for your group, why not turn them into multi-choice format? Or how about a Millionaire format? The questions can (should!) be done in French, of course, with advanced groups.
