Reached as high as AA with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. • Has over 9 years experience in private and camp instruction. Ronnie spent the 2008 and 2009 season on the major league staff with the Baltimore Orioles as the bullpen catcher/batting practice pitcher. He will continue in this roll during the 2010 season. Ronnie played collegiately at Oklahoma Christian University where he was an All-Sooner Athletic Conference performer and an NAIA Academic All-American in both his junior and senior seasons. After college Ronnie played professional baseball for seven seasons. He reached the AA level with Tampa Bay Devil Rays in 2003. After playing professionally, Ronnie coached at two college programs (Northeastern Junior College of Colorado and Ogelthorpe University in Atlanta) where he was the recruiting coordinator and assistant coach. Ronnie’s debut as a professional coach came in 2007 as the hitting coach for the Windy City Thunderbolts of the Frontier League. His father Jim Beauchamp who played 10 seasons in the Major Leagues and was the bench coach for the Atlanta Braves for 9 seasons including the '95 World Championship team. 1982 - 1st round draft choice (1st overall) in 1982 January Draft.
