A. IFFR Convention Hotel. The 2017 Rotary International Convention begins June 10, 2017, less than 12 months from now. IFFR has reserved thirty rooms at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis , www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/atlmq-atlanta-marriott-marquis, for those of you who would like to stay with fellow members. (15 rooms for June 9; 30 rooms for June 10 through 14). Our hotel is only 8 blocks from the Convention Site---within walking distance. The room rate is $205 USD per night, which includes all taxes.
Include: (1) the names of individuals staying in the room, (2) your email address, (3) your mailing address (4) your phone number (5) your check in and your check out date 2. Pay your deposit of first and last night’s lodging to: IFFR Americas Treasurer Steve Henderson, 561 Auto Center Drive, Watsonville, CA 95076, n8571V@gmail.com, (831) 818-1488 by November 15, 2016. Deposit is $410 US, if you are paying via check, $425 US, if you are paying via credit card or PayPal. Payment must be received no later than November 15, 2016 You may pay by check (payable to IFFR), credit card, wire transfer, or whatever. You will pay the hotel for the balance due when you check out of the hotel. Important: Rooms will be allocated by whomever pays first. You should act immediately because...First Come--First Served. Once our allocation is gone, you will be on your own to locate accommodations. If you need to cancel your reservation after November 15, we will give a full refund only if we are able to re-rent your room. B. Post-Convention Fly Away. We are working on details for a terrific fly away departing the Atlanta area on the morning of Thursday, June 15. Stops will include Chattanooga, TN, Knoxville, TN, Lexington, KY, Lewisburg, WV, Manassas, VA (Washington, DC), and Williamsburg, VA. Watch for details in the next few months.
