Activity 1: Review students’ discussion [Pronoun and Articles]

  1. When we go to a new company to work, we need to introduce ourselves to them.

  2. In view of above examples, introducing yourself to others is definitely an essential thing when we meet each other for the first time

  3. When a first impression is wrong it can take a lot of time for the person to change the way they think about the other person, but it is possible.

  4. When we meet someone at first time, we usually start with their appearance and behavior.

  1. When you are in an interview, you need to introduce yourself to the interviewer.

  2. For example, when we come to new class, we have to make brief introduction to our classmates.

  3. In the general gathering, whether is public or private party, we need to introduce ourselves as generous.   

  4. Because we don’t know the person before, we just can see his/her appearance including dress, behavior, and eye contact.

  2. Practice how to greet properly

    1. Discussion the hierarchy in business

    2. Memorize your company name, your position title

    3. Meet your classmates and introduce yourself

    4. You have to shake hands, decide when…

Activity 4: Group Practice

You are receiving a guest from London in the reception area. Greet the guest and introduce yourself. Lead the guest to the conference room and try to make a small talk with one of the topics below:

Activity 5: Making Phone Calls
