2017 ROOF REPLACEMENT AT BOARDWALK HALL EAST
BID DUE DATE AND TIME:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT sealed bids will be received by Global Spectrum, agent for Casino Redevelopment Investment Authority "CRDA" (owner), for the ROOF REPLACEMENT PROJECT at Boardwalk Hall East no later than Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 11:00AM and will be publicly opened and read immediately thereafter. Bids must be addressed to GLOBAL SPECTRUM, attention Clark Hughes, 2301 Boardwalk, Atlantic City, NJ 08401.


PRE-BID CONFERENCE AND TOUR:

A pre-bid conference which includes a tour of the worksite shall be held at Wednesday August 30, 2017 at 11:00AM. Prospective bidders shall meet within the main lobby of Boardwalk Hall, 2301 Boardwalk, Atlantic City, NJ 08401.
QUESTION CUT-OFF DATE:

Contractors must submit their questions in writing to ARMM Associates, Inc. attention Susan Guida, by email (susan@armmassociates.com) and copy Clark Hughes at (ACRFP-Questions@Global-spectrum.com), no later than 4:00pm Friday, September 8, 2017. A formal addendum will be issued by the architect by the end of business day on Monday, September 11, 2017.


BID DOCUMENTS (PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS):

Drawings, Specifications and other Contract Documents for the proposed work are on file in the office of ARMM Associates, Inc., 725 Kenilworth Avenue, Cherry Hill, NJ, 08002-2829 and may be inspected by prospective bidders during office hours (between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.). Drawings and Specifications will be furnished by the Architect upon receipt of a check made payable to ARMM Associates, Inc., for the following: $150.00 per set via electronic format (CD or email) or $200.00 per set via hard copy. Bids must be made on proposal forms in a manner designated, enclosed in a separate sealed envelope with name and address of bidder and work bid upon noted on the outside, and must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Global Spectrum (as managing agent for Casino Redevelopment Investment Authority "CRDA" and as operator of Historic Boardwalk Hall and the Atlantic City Convention Center), for not less than twenty percent (20%) of the amount of the bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00. Bids must be delivered to the above on or before the hour named. Global Spectrum assumes no responsibility for bids mailed or misdirected in delivery. The bidders and subcontractors must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, DPMC (DPMC C066, C067, C076-ROOFING TPO) and have valid and current Notices of Classification prior to the date that bids are received.
No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive informality in the bidding if it is in the interest of Global Spectrum to do so. As the East portion of the building is listed on the New Jersey and National Registers of Historic Places, aspects of the work (especially as it entails masonry) must meet the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation of Historic Properties. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq and N.J.A.C. 17:27. In accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A-27, as it may apply to this Contract, all bidders may be required to meet with qualifications established with the Department of Treasury, Division of Building and Construction. The successful bidder shall be required to comply with the provisions of the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq.
