Judy Giusti Joins the Boston AP Team
Boston Joslin would like to welcome Judy Giusti, MS, RD, LDN, CDE to our team as Manager, Clinical Education Programs. Judy has been with Joslin since 1998, and has most recently been a medical writer for Healthcare Services, Strategic Initiatives. She has developed numerous education materials for educators and patients. Judy has a BS in Food and Nutrition form Framingham State College and an MS in Human Nutrition from the University of New Haven. D asman Institute Signs MOU with Joslin Diabetes Center
In March 2010, the Dasman Institute in Kuwait signed a Memorandum of Understanding [MOU] with several Affiliates of the Harvard Medical School, including Joslin, the Shapiro Institute for Education and Research and Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at BIDMC. They agreed to work collaboratively to establish a state-of-the-art, comprehensive diabetes and chronic disease care, education, management and research program across Kuwait. A five year agreement will be executed in September 2010.
AtlantiCare Opening
On March 23, 2010, our newest Affiliate, the Joslin Diabetes Center Affiliate at AtlantiCare held their grand opening at the LifeCenter building in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. The event was hosted by Dr. Katherine Schneider, VP for Health Engagement at AtlantiCare and featured a tour of the completely renovated office suite, hors d’oeuvres, wine bar and giveaways.
