Again, Thank You and the Purple Heart Patriot Project Mission #1 Staff for the very special and incredible visit to West Point and the Hudson Valley

   What was your favorite part of the trip? Of course, it had to be the National Purple Heart Hall of Honor and the Rally Tribute at the Newburgh Armory Unity Center. This answer is not to discount all of the other destinations and events. As you said “We have a couple of pretty amazing day planed for you” is an understatement - you exceeded and I understand your definition of amazing! The accommodations at The Thayer Hotel were great also.

   What part of the trip could we skip next time? I think the itinerary was well planned with the time allowed of great places of interest and events.
   
3. 
   Where can we improve? This is a hard one with only two days! Flight planning - I think we missed the “getting acquainted” time on Monday afternoon due to a flight cancellation (not that you can plan for this) Thanks to You and Becky for hanging-in to the wee hours waiting for us. Might have a short introduction so faces can be placed to names although the large name tags were great! Could have more seating with tables at Cullen Hall Hall (Old folks need the table to prop on). It would have been good to have a short visit to the West Point Cemetery - a lot of us “old Vietnam Vets” had a tremendous respect for General Westmoreland.

   What will you remember from this trip? “THE PEOPLE” You have the most patriotic and loving group of volunteers and staff I have ever been with. Thanks to personal involvement of all from the Rolling Thunder, your yellow shirts, the other Purple Heart recipients, West Point leadership, Fire and Police Departments, the Kids and leadership at Camp Kiniya, to the Scouts, made this a trip one that I will never forget!
