Q. Do you have special library cards for teachers?

A. Yes! Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System issues free borrowing cards to educators in Fulton County and in the City of Atlanta in Dekalb.

Q. Is this for all kinds of teachers?

A. You qualify for an educator card if you teach in a licensed educational institution or if you are a registered homeschooling parent.

Q. What is special about an educator card?

A. You may check out up to 50 items at a time with an educator card. You are personally responsible for late fines, damaged material, and lost fees that accrue on the account.

Q. How do I get a card?

A. Complete this application and take it to any Atlanta-Fulton Public Library branch.

We also need a letter or another official document that verifies that you are currently working at a licensed educational institution or are a registered homeschooling parent.
Renew this card each year.

A. You can use it at any branch of the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System.
