BOYS CHOIR INVITED TO PERFORM AT A BASEBALL GAME! The LNMS Boys Choir has been selected AGAIN to perform the National Anthem at an Atlanta Braves Spring Training Baseball Game at Disney’s Wide World of Sports. We will perform the National Anthem on Friday, April 1st at a 1:00 p.m. Atlanta Braves vs. the Tampa Bay Rays game! This is such an honor and we are excited for our boys to perform! It is really important that we have our entire team present for this incredible opportunity. We will get to stay and watch the game after we sing! Tickets are $12 for each boy choir member and are $24 for parents and family members. We would love to have as many people possible to support us in the stands as we sing! You can invite your family and friends! I have reserved 150+ seats. We really need every singer in attendance to make this incredible! Students will need to keep their grades up – maintaining all A’s, B’s and C’s in their classes for the third nine weeks, and they must maintain an A in chorus with a 1 in conduct – demonstrating that they are capable of representing LNMS Chorus and our school with great talent and behavior while we are off campus. Friday, April 1st is a school day – the last day of the 3rd nine weeks. Students should report to their classes, then to the chorus room at the start of Period 2. We will take a bus to and from Disney’s Wide World of Sports. See the bottom section for more details. Students will need to submit three things by Friday, February 26th 1) parent permission/ticket order form 2) the Disney Sports Waiver 3) cash payment or school pay receipt in the attached envelope for family tickets ***If a student is ineligible to participate due to grades/behavior, money will be refunded. Final grade check will take place on March 30th. SHIRTS - Performers will receive a custom t-shirt with our Lake Nona Sponsors printed on the back. If you are interested in donating to the printing of our shirts and having your business displayed on the back of our shirts, please contact Renee Friedel at Reneesphotostudio@bellsouth.net . Boys should wear the shirts with khaki shorts and comfortable closed toe shoes (no flip flops). Please put your extra money for food or drink in your pocket. You may also bring your cell phone to communicate with your parents for pick up on the way home. You may bring your glove and hat to wear after we sing the National Anthem. TENTATIVE SCHEDULE (final schedule will be sent out March 30th) 10:30 a.m. Meet in the chorus room at LNMS (warm up and run through) 11:00 a.m. load the buses and head to Disney’s Wide World of Sports 11:45 a.m. arrive at WWoS and meet at the GLOBE 1;00 p.m. game starts with our performance of the National Anthem! 1:00- 3:30 p.m. –sit and enjoy game Atlanta Braves vs. Tampa Bay Rays 3:30 – load the buses to return to LNMS 4:00 p.m. – pick up from LNMS Please turn in by February 26th FIELD TRIP PERMISSION FORM Name _____________________________________ Grade _____________

I also give my consent for my student to be transported in connection with this activity. I further give my permission for the appropriate school staff or their designees to render emergency treatment or authorize medical treatment by a hospital and/or doctor associated with an injury. I agree to hold the School Board Employees harmless in the administration of such emergency assistance.
