ROBIN LAKE BEACH AT CALLAWAY GARDENS: FUN FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY

PINE MOUNTAIN, GA - Just 60 minutes southwest of Atlanta and 30 minutes north of Columbus, Ga., Robin Lake Beach within Callaway Gardens® offers a 50-acre lake surrounded by exciting activities for all ages.

And, it’s no ordinary beach. Robin Lake is home to the largest, inland, man-made sand beach in the world.

Each year the Summer season starts by hosting the Masters Water Ski & Wakeboard Tournament, the sports’ premiere international tournament. In addition to the lake and beach, through Labor Day guests enjoy the large outdoor playground, miniature golf, table tennis and shuffleboard. But that’s just the beginning.

During June, July and August, the highlight is a thrilling show presented by Florida State University’s Flying High Circus. Performing daily, except Wednesdays, under Callaway’s “Big Top,” the circus delights all ages with daring feats and heart-stopping stunts. These same circus performers double as supervisors of the highly popular Summer Family Adventure program in which families are treated to activities

and games at the Beach and in the Gardens each week during the Summer.

For a small fee, guests of all ages can enjoy Aqua Island, a floating water playground, Light Striker Laser Tag lets guests practice their sneak attack on others and Blaster Boats, small electric boats that shoot and spray others in the lake for some splish, splash fun.

Thousands of guests gather at Callaway’s Robin Lake Beach to celebrate the Fourth of July’s Surf and Sand Spectacular with a day of fun in the sun, live beach music and a patriotic fireworks display.

Annually on Labor Day weekend Callaway’s Summer season ends on a high note at the Sky High Hot Air Balloon Festival. It offers a balloon glow and both morning and afternoon balloons launches with lots of activities throughout each day and one of the country’s oldest triathlons occurring Sunday.

Robin Lake Beach area also hosts other special events throughout the year. It is the site for the Callaway Annual Plant Fair and Sale; the Christmas Village for Callaway’s famous Fantasy In Lights® as well as a location for many corporate parties and events.

Surround yourself with Callaway’s stunning beauty, award-winning accommodations, excellent restaurants and top-rated recreational programs with a great day at Robin Lake Beach. Make your plans now to visit for the perfect getaway!
