Designed and implemented a 135TB BackBlaze RAID server for under £10,000.
Wrote In-depth whitepaper detailing recovery and information from current Ransomware Trojans 2014.

Assistant Manager, Fields Data Recovery

I currently manage a team of engineers to maintain their peak performance, and

achieving daily/monthly goals and targets. I Liaise with the sale team, audit job logs to

ISO standards, provide HR administration and do stock control for a class-100 clean

room environment. One of my main roles is creating and maintaining a training matrix

for management and engineers. I provide daily motivation, incentives and training for

staff members whilst also having my own targets to accomplish.

I hold regular meetings, provide daily statistical reports, and consistently find ways to

implement up to date advancements in storage media.


Senior Engineer, Fields Data Recovery

March 2008 to May 2009, Bridgend, Wales

During my time as a fields engineer I achieved the highest level (6) and quickly became

an assistant manager. My daily tasks involve recovering client’s data (Logical & Physical

issues),imaging and cloning, using specialist equipment to fix firmware faults from all ranges of HDD manufactures and the physical repair of hard drive internals, computers and hardware.I can also

recover/repair from SSD/Flash media, along with other removable storage devices

(USBs, Floppy, Zip, CD and DVDs).

Since working at fields I have become an experienced RAID builder (Different RAID

levels - can build arrays manually by using counters, identifiers and calculating XOR).

I have experiance with many types of encryption software (Sophos Safeguard, PGP,

Endpoint, Bitlocker, Cobian, Truecrypt, Apple Filevault, Western Digital Smartware and

different types of Ransomware) and have written numerous documents about these.

I have plenty of experiance with different operating systems, file systems, forensics

(Data deletion, format, file reconstruction) and virtual machines (for encryption drives,

Virus infected drives, integrity testing, software execution)

While being a full time engineer, I was also the laboratory’s support Systems

Maintenance, and storage. One of my responsibilities was to liaise daily with “Goods Inn”,
