Work Experience

Jan 89 - Aug 89

After qualifying in 1989, I was sent to Abadan General Hospital to work as GP. During this period I gained valuable experience in the management of internal medicine diseases and outpatient surgery. This experience extended to Internal medicine, neurology, cardiovascular and pediatric wards. Also as my attachment to Abadan Genera Hospital happened soon after the Iran – Iraq war spent a considerable time in the management of trumatological treatment of wounded soldiers.

May 94 – Apr 97

During this period worked as otolaryngologist in ENT Department of “Khomain” and “Torbat Jam” General Hospitals and Zahedan teaching university hospital carrying a wide range of otorhinolaryngology and head & neck surgeries including Tympanoplasty , Mastoidectomy , Tonsilectomy , Cleft lip and palate surgery , parotidectomy , Thyroidectomy , RND and so on .

Apr 97-Till now

Working as assistant professor in Arya teching hospital, Azad University of Iran. During this time I spent 6 months as a fellow in the Head & Neck surgical ward of Amir-Alam teaching hospital, Tehran University. The Fellowship included FESS, cancer surgery , facial plastic surgery with focus in Rhinology . Part of my duties as assistant professor included acting as counselor/supervisor for final year Students writing their research papers in fields like Effect of estrogen therapy in Angiofibroma, Effect of Septoplasty in smelling, Evaluation of FNA in neck mass, Efficiency of Endoscopic DCR, Efficiency of nasometer in evaluations of cleft palate, Efficiency of visipitch and Aerophone in voice lab and so on.
