Dear Parent,

Greetings from ABPS

Hold their Hand but don’t chain their souls’

Keeping in tune the above theme, we at A.B.P.S. Awarpur strongly believe that learning is best accomplished in an atmosphere marked by freedom, but freedom with a sense of Responsibility, Love, Care and Sensitivity. During this academic year 2013-14, great emphasis is laid on honing the personality of each child by inculcating values such as Self- Discipline, Self- Respect and Self –Esteem and by equipping them with LIFE SKILLS to face the world full of challenges. Proper guidance and timely counselling is given to students to boost their confidence, shirk their complexes, curb undesirable behaviour and develop a Balanced Emotional Disposition.

If you wish to be great, be self effacing and humble. The tree laden with fruits always bends low”.

-Shri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa

Dr. Kumar Mangalam Birla, Chairman, The Aditya Birla Group- expressing his views on education

said “I dream of an education system that recognizes the race each student runs with himself or herself and that helps students develop well rounded personalities”.

We at school need to move from the constructivist approach to the Teaching Learning Process. The focus should always be on the learner’s active participation in the process, which is neither restricted nor hampered by the confines of the text book or the class room or the examination. We have to encourage our students to take risks, make mistakes and explore new ways and procedures for solving problems and performing tasks. The need of the hour is to promote creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship among our students.

Our School provides ample opportunities for the full realization of the child’s potential and development of abilities and interest for the full flowering of the student’s personality.

School is a building that has four walls, with tomorrow inside.”- Lon Watters

So dear parents let’s work together for a new tomorrow----a tomorrow moulded by us---for we are the Architects of Impressionable Minds----In conclusion I quote Daniel Webster who said:-

If we work on marble, it will perish,

If we work on brass, time will efface it,

If we rear temples, they will crumble into dust,

But if we work on immortal minds and instil into them Principles,

We are engraving upon tablets, which no time will efface;

But will brighten and brighten to all eternity.”

Wish you a Happy Reading

With Best Wishes,

Principal
