Population and Sample

The respondents of this study were the senior high school students of STI College Meycauayan from Grade 11 to Grade 12 in the school year 2017-2018.


In order to come up with the sample population of the study coming from each year level, the following formula was used:

n = number of samples
N = total population; and
e = margin of error = 0.05
The current population of the senior high school students at STI College Meycauayan and its estimated sample (based on 5% margin of error) is given in the table below:

The systematic sampling was used to get the estimated sample of the population and every second person from the population would be included in the sample. Table 1 presents the total population of the grade 11 and grade 12 senior high school students.
 
Subjects of the Study
The respondents of the study were 256 Senior High School Students at STI College Meycauayan branch, Banga Meycauayan Bulacan who were enrolled 2017-2018, Systematic Sampling was employed.
