Introduction

The government engages in several legal enactments

Granted legal permission to laborers to create unions

It also focused on creating a revolution in morals and culture by enacting a law that promotes gender equality and the creation of freedoms

2nd Paragraph

After the end of the world war, the federal government granted all citizens the right, including women

The nineteenth amendment and gave women the right to vote

This was to create the United States with free markets and political democracy

3rd Paragraph

During world war two in 1941, Franklin Roosevelt founded the four freedoms as national unity.

These freedoms were meant to enhance economic security,

These freedoms were to strengthen unity by promoting black internationalism

These freedoms were aimed to achieve several aspects, such as the abolition of segregation in education by equalizing educational opportunities.

4th Paragraph

In 1935, franklin Roosevelt signed the Wagner Act to allow workers to form labor unions.

According to the letter addressed to the secretary of labor Perkins, the laborers were cruel and in terrible conditions in sugar cane belt Louisiana

This was to provide a fairer share to labor in the national income to increase labor participation in the increased production efficiency

5th Paragraph

Over time, the role of the federal government has been dynamic.

Throughout the period, the Federal government has been implementing laws to promote equality, democracy, and economic growth.

The major groups that benefitted in this period include women, laborers, and immigrants.

Conclusion

The Federal government enacted several laws between World War 1 and World War 11 to respond to social, cultural, and economic conditions in the United States.

Wagner act of 1935 changed laborers' lives

Nineteenth amendment helped to promote political freedom for the female gender



The four freedoms enhanced freedom to eliminate segregation.
