The Ducks own the tiebreaker. POSTSEASON BOUND: The Somerset Patriots won the 1st Half Liberty Division Title. It’s the franchises 13th Half Title and first half title win since 2010. In the 2-3 first round format the Patriots have elected to have the back three games at home so they’ll open up on the road starting September 24th. WHO WANTS TO CATCH? The Patriots have used six different catchers this year BIG JON: Jon Hunton leads the Atlantic League with 44 saves. That’s 16 more than anyone else. On August 24th he set the Atlantic League single season record for most saves in a year breaking Mike Guilfoyle’s record of 40 that was accomplished in 2003 with Bridgeport. RECORD SETTING HALF: The 47 win first half sets a franchise record for most wins in a single half. Previous mark was 46 done in 1st half of 2013. COME BACK KIDS: The Patriots have 36 come from behind victories on the season, 18 wins in their final at bat and seven walk-off wins.
