The 2014 edition of the “Flight School Accreditation Application” is to be used for submission of applications and supporting documentation for deadlines in 2014.
The 2015 edition will be available in December 2014.
Read FSANA’s “Flight School Accreditation Standards” and “Flight School Accreditation Guide” prior to making a request for application to obtain more information on program and policy requirements and to clarify expectations.

Important
To apply for accreditation, flight schools must:

Adopt the “FSANA Code of Ethics.”

Meet or exceed all requirements in FSANA’s “Flight School Accreditation Standards” and adhere to its policies.

Meet all definitions of a flight school.
Basic Instructions

Please make sure that the yearly edition (indicated on page 1) matches the year in which you submit your accreditation materials.

Submission: All submissions shall be identified with the name of the school. After assembling this application, keep a copy for your records (supporting documents included) and send three sets of electronic copies (as noted on page 3) along with one signed printed hard copy of the materials to:

All items must have a response. Improperly assembled or incomplete applications will be returned to the applicant and may delay processing in sufficient time to continue on the schedule desired by the applicant.
Compact Disc/ Flash Drive
This application and all accompanying material must be submitted on compact disc or USB flash drive in addition to a signed hard copy. Please see details in Section 4 of the “Flight School Accreditation Guide.” Contact the FSANA office if you have any questions about this requirement.
Timelines
Applications must be received by October 1 for the Winter/Spring session, or by
March 1 for the Summer/Fall session.
Accreditation Fees
FSANA members $4,000.00
Non-members $5,000.00
Re-inspection after failure $750.00
Accreditation hearing travel expenses to be paid by the applicant
Applicants who select to pay the accreditation fee in full at the time of application will receive a 5% discount. At minimum, applicants shall remit at the time of application the minimum fee of $2,000.00 (non-members $2,500.00) which is non-refundable with the balance due prior to site inspection.
