The selections were made by NerdWallet, a website dedicated to helping consumers make wise financial choices, and the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC). Weekley, a credit counselor certified by the NFCC, has worked at ClearPoint since 2007 and is an alumnus of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. The citation comes after being designated ClearPoint’s 2015 Counselor of the Year and nominated for the NFCC’s Professional Achievement and Counseling Excellence (PACE) award. Fulfilling ClearPoint’s mission of Consumer Health through Financial Education, Weekley provides one-on-one coaching to about 500 clients annually, helping them develop a budget and create a plan to resolve debt.
