Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) (As of March, 2014)
Asia Atlantic Airlines is a dynamic new force in Asia’s charter airline industry. We aspire to fulfill the needs of the travelling public through the provision of high quality customer orientated service both on the ground and in the air. Our business model is based on charter operations and consequently the majority of our passengers purchase inclusive travel packages through travel agents. Currently we provide daily scheduled charter flights between Bangkok and Tokyo and will commence flight operations to China and South Korea in the near future. We also provide charters for clients worldwide and are continually expanding our operating network. Stay tuned for developments at www.asiaatlanticairlines.com/where-we-fly 2A) Check in Times Check in counters at both Narita and Bangkok open 3 hours prior to aircraft departure and close 1 hour prior to aircraft departure. Departure gates close 15 minutes prior to departure, passengers arriving at the gate after this time will be denied boarding.

At Suvarnabhumi International Airport, please check the information display at the Airport on your date of travel for our allocated check-in counter. Asia Atlantic Airlines currently uses Terminal 2 at Narita International Airport with Check-in at Counter T. Further information is available at www.narita-airport.jp and www.suvarnabhumiairport.com
Checked-baggage allowance at Asia Atlantic Airlines are as follows: Business Class Total allowance 32 kg (2 pieces) Total Linear dimensions 158 cm/62 inch Economy Class Total allowance 23 kg (2 pieces) Total Linear dimensions 158 cm/62 inch Exceptions: The following items are acceptable within checked baggage allowance and exempt from checked baggage dimension restrictions: Sports equipment, golf bag, surf board, bicycles (max length: 140 cm, width: 30 cm, height: 80cm), fishing rod (max length: 277 cm)
Should your baggage exceed our checked-baggage allowance, excess baggage charges will be applied at 10 USD (300THB/1000JPY) per kg and payment will be accepted in Cash only (THB for departure in Thailand / JPY for departure in Japan). If you wish to carry additional baggage, the third checked bag and any additional pieces will be charged at 150 USD (4500 THB/ 15000 JPY) per bag/piece (Up to a maximum of seven pieces allowed per passenger) Individual pieces of baggage that have total linear dimensions in excess of 158 cm will be charged at 100 USD (3000THB/10000JPY) per piece ※ Individual pieces of baggage weighing 32 kg or more will not be carried.
Carry-on baggage on Asia Atlantic Airlines is limited to one piece, with a maximum weight of 7 kgs, for Economy class and two pieces, with a maximum combined weight of 14 kgs for Business Class. ※ The following items may be carried on-board in addition to carry-on baggage: handbag, overcoat, blanket, umbrella, walking stick, small personal camera, binoculars, laptop computer and reasonable amount of reading material for the flight.
Asia Atlantics Airlines’ current fleet consists of two Boeing 767-300ER jets. A highly versatile aircraft , the twin-engine 767 can travel up to 530 miles per hour at cruising speed and cover up to 6,500 nautical miles (or 12,000 km), providing us with the flexibility to fly into a range of mid- and long-haul markets within the region and beyond. Our first aircraft has a total of 252 seats, 12 of which are Business Class. The second can accommodate 261 passengers, including 18 in Business Class. The seat configuration for Business class is 2-2-2 and for Economy class is 2-3-2. Smoking on board Asia Atlantic Airlines’ aircraft is prohibited. Also see www.asiaatlanticairlines.com/our-fleet
Louis Tavern First and Business Class lounges are available for a very attractive fee offering excellent facilities at Suvarnabhumi International Airport. Entry to the lounge can be arranged at the check-in counter. For further information on facilities at Louis Tavern Lounges, please visit www.dayrooms-ciplounges.com. No airport lounge service is currently provided at Narita International Airport.
Asia Atlantic Airlines seats are configured for maximum comfort with a headrest and all seats have a blanket and a pillow.
Complimentary snacks, a hot meal and beverages are provided on all Asia Atlantic Airlines flights. For Flight HB088 (BKK-NRT), passengers are served Breakfast while Lunch is served on Flight HB089 (NRT-BKK). Our complimentary beverages on-board include Apple Juice, Orange Juice, Pineapple Juice, Coke, Sprite, Hot Coffee, Hot Tea and Japanese Green Tea. Alcoholic beverages, Beer (Singha, Heineken) and Red Wine, White Wine are available free-of-charge in Business Class, and charged in Economy Class. Also see www.asiaatlanticairlines.com/on-board
All Asia Atlantic Airlines Cabin Crew teams include at least one Japanese national and Thai crew conversant in Thai, English and Japanese. Some crew members also speak other languages such as Korean, Mandarin, Arabic, French, German and Russian.
For specials requests, please provide prior notice to us by informing us directly or your travel agent. Special wheelchairs that fit within the aircraft are available onboard and passengers can also check in their own wheel chair. Please note that for passengers wishing to check in electric wheel chairs those chairs with dry batteries or gel/sealed batteries may only be accepted.
Passengers requiring particular special dietary or religious meals should make their preferences known to Asia Atlantic Airlines at the time of booking but no later than 48 hours prior to travel. Similarly if our younger passengers require a special meal this should also be made know to us.
If you’re travelling with a baby on Asia Atlantic Airlines, for your convenience, it is acceptable to check-in with your baby stroller (free-of-charge). Please note that we do not provide any baby strollers at the airport, however you may take your stroller to the departure gate where it will be loaded on the aircraft. Infant’s food for consumption on-board Asia Atlantic Airlines is available but should be pre-ordered at the time of booking but no less than 48 hours prior to departure. Should you wish to take your own baby formula on board facilities to warm the formula are available on board. 18) If you left something on-board Asia Atlantic Airlines, how can you get it back? If you realize that you left something on-board Asia Atlantic Airlines, please notify us or your travel agent. We will make every effort to locate your lost item and return it to you. Please note that while we make every effort to locate lost items, we are not liable for items left on our aircraft. 19) Travel insurance Because travel involves many risks, and our liability to you is limited, you may choose to purchase travel insurance, which can cover things like: Lost Tickets, changes in travel plans and travel cancellation, medical and hospital expenses repatriation costs, personal injury and death, delayed, damaged or lost Baggage and other items. 20) Health We may refuse to carry you if we, acting reasonably, are not completely satisfied that it is safe for you to fly. Before you make a reservation you should tell us if you suffer from any illness, disease or other condition which may make it unsafe for you or other Passengers if you fly. 21) Pets and Animals On some flights we may, at our discretion, agree to carry pet dogs, cats or birds however all animals except service animals will be treated as cargo. For travel with a service animal, you must give us at least 14 days notice prior to travel so that appropriate arrangements can be made. 22) Was this FAQ helpful?
