<888> 01/31/14 Friday 9:35 P.M. I threw out the garbage. I went by the A&P Fresh. I bought a 12 pack of Thomas' English muffins for $2.99, bananas for .79 a pound for $2.46, a two pound bag of baby carrots for $3.49, broccoli crowns for $1.99 a pound for $1.33 and a $1.55 can and plastic bottle return for $8.72 total. I then went downtown, and I walked the entire length of Greenwich Avenue and the train station area. I stopped by Zen Stationary, and I played an Ace's High scratch card for a dollar and I won $2 for a dollar profit. I stopped by the Chase Bank across the street, and I used the ATM. That branch is closing February 28, 2014. I stopped by CVS, and I toured the store, and I used the bathroom. I sat out for a while after my walk. I then drove by CVS again, and I bought six 12 packs of Schweppes Ginger Ale for $22 and $3.60 can deposit and $1.14 tax less a $4 off $20 CVS coupon for $22.74 total. I also got $5 bonus bucks on a over $20 Schweppes purchase. I then bought two www.ge.com Energy Smart 20 watt light bulbs for $2.99 each less the $5 bonus bucks I got on the previous purchase for 98 cents total. I then went by the Putnam Shell at 401 West Putnam Avenue, and I bought $7 of self service V-Power premium gasoline for $4.199 a gallon with a dime a gallon off with my Stop and Shop card for 1.668 gallons for 16.9 miles driving since Saturday January 18, 2014 at odometer reading of 107464 miles for 10.132 miles per gallon in mostly local traffic. I then returned home. I used my little folding cart to bring up the Schweppes Ginger Ale. I put it back in the rear of the Volvo station wagon. I picked up the mail. <888> 01/31/14 Friday 6:40 A.M. Yesterday morning I called up the local security firm that is headquartered in the new building behind the Senior and the Arts Center, and they told me that in the New York City area passengers in taxi cabs and livery vehicles still do not have to wear seat belts. When I threw out the garbage two hours ago, the eastern side door was left opened about a foot, so any intruders including wild animals could be in the building. In letting my retired neighbor use one of my guest computers to fill out job applications, I found out that it take four hours to fill out the Stop and Shop job application here http://www.stopandshop.com/about_us/employment.htm?careers=1 and six hours to fill out the CVS application here http://jobs.cvscaremark.com/articles/retail-jobs including a lot of lengthy surveys which do not make much sense. <888> 01/30/14 Thursday 3:55 A.M. I chatted with http://www.masseyeandear.org/about-us/contact-us/ about the large vacuum machine they had in their emergency room on the Charles River that at 2 A.M. in the morning in April 1977, they used to clean out my inner ears when I returned up north from Florida. They did not know what I was talking about, but they told me they have newer machines. The new hospital in Innsbruck, Austria in 1989 also had the same machine. I have never seen it anywhere else. When one is around the ocean at the beach for a long time, one gets a build up of sand, salt and wax in one's inner ear which can lead to temporary deafness unless treated. However, if one were subject to loud music, it is sort of nice to be selectively deaf. I currently every six months use about 20 drops of Debrox in each ear for 5 minutes holding my head sideways to keep the drops in , and then I wash out the ear with hot water with a hot water plastic ear ball that sprays the hot water into the ear. I think CVS has a kit that comes with Debrox or their generic version with the ear water ball. CIO

Now it seems everything we do or say has to be filtered through some higher authority which is probably the Chinese that make all of this communications equipment. The British have never shown any interest in the Scottish in America, so the Scottish in America have had to fill in for the British who are more interested in their local affairs back in the United Kingdom. Whether any of the so called British people I have dealt with over the years here in America are actually British or just actors on the world stage is opened to debate. I do know from my experience with the British that I have dealt with outside of America, they seem to be a different kettle of fish than the British I deal with here in the United States of America. <888> 01/27/14 Monday 10:00 P.M. I currently weigh 233.2 pounds. When I spent many years down around the pier on Steamboat Road, besides a number of veterans down there regularly, there were two marksman that showed up down there. One was an Elk Hunter from Harrison, New York with a NRA sticker on his vehicle, and he wore those black sunglasses like one wears after cataract surgery. On Holidays, there was also a Federal Judge from Bedford, New York with a NRA sticker on his vehicle. Whether either of them was the shooter at me is probably doubtful, since I do not think one can shoot that far to Tod's Point. My best guess when I investigated the incident after it happened, there was a young blond boy getting off the launch at the Indian Harbor Yacht Club with a set of golf clubs which seemed unusual, so perhaps the golf club bag held a sniper rifle.
