Local Health Action Planning Coalition Structure (committees, workgroups and chairs) The Lower Eastern Shore Tri-County Health Planning Board has been meeting on average three times a year since1993. It rotates meeting in each county and is hosted by the county Health Planning Board Chairman in which the meeting is taking place. To date there have been no formal workgroups. Staff work with appropriate members to draft position papers and other documents as needed. Each county has one vote. The County Boards use majority of a quorum to decide what their position will be on the Tri-county questions. Health Planning Coalition Vision and Mission Statement By-Laws of the Tri-County Health Planning Board are attached. Activities/Schedules – Health Planning Coalition meeting dates and schedules (include link to local websites for public meeting schedules to be posted on the SHIP website) To prepare the RHIP and Action Plans the Tri-county Health Planning Board will have the following public meetings: Wed., October 26, 2011 9 AM -11 AM Somerset County Wed., November 30, 2011 9 AM -11 AM Wicomico County Wed., December 21, 2011 9 AM -11 AM Worcester County Wed., January 25, 2012 9 AM -11 AM Somerset County Wed., February 29, 2012 9 AM -11 AM Wicomico County Locations to be announced by the host county’s Board staff at the Health Department.
