Reasons for conflicts in his team
1.
age difference
the team has members of different age groups ranging from 27 years to 45 years.
2.
different educational background
the team members were from various eduactional backgrounds - engineers, diploma holders and BSC graduates
3.
work experience
the team members have different work experiences e.g- both of the engineers has the experience of 2 years and for technicians , experience ranges from 5 to 15 years )
4.
superiority complex and competition among the members.
sometimes, members were not satisfied with the work allotted to them and insisted to give the work to lesser/more experienced ones.

In the initial days, the rate of conflicts was high, and it took a lot of efforts from team leader side to deal with the same.
Methods he used to deal with the team conflicts ?
makeing them realize their importance for the team
explaining about the task given to them. and why they are the suitable person to perform the same.

if none of the above works then" i'm the boss , you have to do this " solution
motivating them to perform the task
Methods used for team betterment
Departmental trainings, ice - breaking sessions (in initial phase)
informal communication , HRD workshops , motivational workshops
Learnings - Situational leadership style is adopted.
- Well connected and managed team.
- In starting conflicts rate was high but it got better with time.
- Motivating and listening to your team members is they key to achieve the goals.
- communication is most important.
- Regular communication with upper management to keep the team aligned with the organizational goals .
- Chinese heads are helpful and understanding hence helps the team head to create a balance between the organization and his team
