I, Robot !!! I Robot is an American science fiction movie inspired from the novels of Isaac Asimov, directed by Alex Proyas and released in 2004. In the film Will Smith is the main actor, he plays the role of Del Spooner a policeman. In Chicago, in 2035, robots are fully integrated into daily life. Police officer Del Spooner does not believe in the suicide of Alfred Lanning, a founding father of robotics. He therefore wished to discover the murderer, and his suspicions turn to a robot named Sonny.
However, all the robots are subjected, during their construction, to three laws: First law: a robot cannot strike a blow at a human being nor, remaining passive, leave this human being exposed to danger.
The second law: a robot has to obey the orders given by the human beings, except when such orders are contradictory to the first law.
The third law: a robot has to protect its existence as far as this protection is not contradictory to the first one or the second law.
