Configure DSL-500T as ADSL Router (for Users in Thailand)

Note : This quick installation guide is applicable to DSL-500T with firmware version of V1.00B02T02. TH.20040720 or higher.
DSL-500T is an ADSL router, which has a built-in ADSL modem. DSL-500T can be connected directly to your switch or wireless access point so that all of the computers in your home or office network are able to access the Internet via shared ADSL broadband line at the same time.
Follow the steps below to configure DSL-500T.

Step 1: Enter the default IP address 192.168.1.1 in the URL address field
Step 2: Enter User Name “admin”, Password “admin” and click [OK]

Step 3: Click [Home] and choose [WAN]

Step 4: Select the “PPPoE/PPPoA” in WAN Settings and enter the VPI and VCI values in [ATM VC Setting]
Note:

Both VPI and VCI values are provided by ISP. Please obtain these values from your ISP. For TA ADSL line, you may use VPI: 0 / VCI: 100 and Type: PPPoE. For TT&T ADSL line, you may use VPI: 0 / VCI: 33 and Type: PPPoE.

Different ISP may have different VPI and VCI values.

Please check with the ISP on the correct type of Encapsulation for your ADSL line.

Step 5: Enter your [Username] and [Password] and then click [Save and Reboot]
