Note in these examples that both the "out of spec" colour and "cant be distinguished" colours are both within specified tolerances and are used as examples to show the format of the output data. In the case of "out of spec colours, the value of dC must be greater than 8.0 to constitute an improper colour, and for "colours that can't be distinguished, dE is to be less than 10 for the colours to be too close in value.
