Workers Compensation Group Member Services Introduction to the 10 step business plan The Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation (BWC) has developed the 10-Step Business Plan for Safety to assist companies with developing a formal health and safety program. The larger goal of the Plan is to help your company develop a culture where all members of the organization actively manage workplace safety and health. To assist you with implementing the Plan in your work place, BWC has developed an attached plan of action (POA) which describes each of the 10 steps and accompanying sub tasks for each step. To further assist in Plan development, BWC has prepared a manual that describes each step in detail.
