(a) GSM Mobile (Al Wasel) is a special package being provided by Etisalat with incoming call facility. However, outgoing calls can be made using Etisalat Prepaid Cards or validating their account through pre-payment. (b) Speak Easy (GSM prepaid SIM card) service is a facility offered even to temporary users. Prepaid cards can be bought on payment of Dhs 300 and can be revalidated through payment. This information is the result of a survey made by ITU-T Study Group 3 in accordance with Resolution 21 of the Plenipotentiary Conference (Kyoto, 1994) and Resolution 29 of the WTSC-96 (Geneva, 1996).
