holds a degree in Human Services from Virginia Polytechnic and State University. She has studied psychology and sociology, social work, and hypnosis. She received her hypnotherapy certification from the Eastern Institute of Hypnotherapy. She also received certification in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Hypnotherapy, and Reiki from Bennett/Stellar University. Janis is an experienced Neuro-Linguistic Hypnotherapist, Master Practitioner of NLP, Reiki Master, Past-Life Regressionist, Time Line Worker, and Interfaith Minister. She is a member in good standing of the National Guild of Hypnotists, American Board of Hypnotherapy, The Society of NLP, the National Association of Transpersonal Hypnotherapists, Spiritual Healers and Earth Stewards, and the Association for Research and Enlightenment. She maintains an exclusive practice in San Diego, and serves on the Advisory Board for Bennett/Stellar University. Janis is also President of the Neuro-Linguistic Hypnotherapy Association.
