ASSESSMENTS: Students shall use proper solfege syllables when singing their parts. Students will use rhythm correctly and be able to identify the beats. Students will be able to sing their part while others are singing their own part.

Activities/Strategies: Have students do vocalises to ready their voice for singing. Review all of African Noel and Measures 5-42 of All on a Silent Night. Continue to work on measures 43-50. Discuss the rhythm and solfege of these measures.

Guided Practice/Independent: In groups of three work on these measures writing in proper solfege syllable and work on rhythm. Have groups sing these measures.
