 LINCOLN AREA CSSC COMMITTEE MEETING AT CHAIRS ADDRESS January 11th 2017 PRESENT CHAIR Gill Hall TREASURER Sue Fletcher SECRETARY Julie Cousins COMMITTEE MEMBERS Ian Martin, Joan Andrews, Steve Mason, Dudley Davenport APOLOGIES None MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING (November 16th 2016) MATTERS OF ACCURACY None Proposed Steve Mason Seconded Ian Martin MATTERS ARISING None CHAIRS REPORT Welcome to the committee and I would like to wish all the members of the Lincoln AA a very Healthy and Happy New Year. A huge thank you to Ian for the Newark Ghost walk which was great fun if on rather a very cold night. A thank you to Sue for organising the Birmingham Market trip once again a good day out was had by all . Sue also over the Christmas holiday prepared the Area Accounts ready for the Auditor to check and sign off, and also managed to send the trip details from 2015 to Alistair Smart regarding CSSC Insurance. New CSSC membership cards are in the process of being issued and I understand some of the membership numbers have been changed. If any member has not received their new card by the end of January can they please contact Head Office. ACTION POINTS None TREASURERS REPORT Thank you to Gill for organising the Doddington Hall Christmas party. Grant from HO for 2017 is £6509 before the annual conference deduction and Regions contribution. I'm expecting Regions contribution to be less than 3%. I have prepared last year's accounts for the Auditor and will pass then across in January for audit. The year-end balance has been passed to HO and I'm expecting the first half of the 2017 grant at the end of January. ACTION POINTS None SECRETARIES REPORT Diary dates will no longer be included in the meeting minutes they will available in the What’s On guidelines the CSSC website or on Facebook. Due to the expense to the area for the replacement of lost or damaged Historic House tickets and the cost of postage they will now only be available for collection and return from the holder Dudley Davenport at his home address. To allow a fair distribution of their use they will only be available to reserve 3 weeks before the required date, we are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause to users. CSSC has partnered with Historic Royal Palaces so as part of your membership vouchers are available for Tower of London, Hampton Court, Banqueting House & Kensington Palace. Vouchers available online and can be redeemed at the venue with your membership card & photo ID. ACTION POINTS None REGION UPDATE Nothing to report from region next meeting 26th January ANY OTHER BUSINESS The committee discussed at length possible venues for trips and events in the coming year these will be investigated by the committee members and reported back to the February meeting.
