OVERVIEW
P&G - The Procter & Gamble Company is focused on providing branded consumer packaged goods to the consumers across the world. The Company operates through five segments:
Beauty; Grooming Health Care Fabric & Home Care, and Baby, Feminine & Family Care. The
Company sells its products in approximately 180 countries and territories primarily through mass merchandisers, grocery stores, membership club stores, drugstores, department stores,
distributors, baby stores, specialty beauty stores, e-commerce, high-frequency stores and pharmacies. It offers products under the brands, such as Olay, Old Spice, Safeguard, Head Shoulders, Pantene, Rejoice, Mach, Presto Barba, Venus, Cascade, Dawn, Febreze, Mr.
Clean, Bounty and Charmin.
Head & Shoulders -
When Head & Shoulders was launched in 1961, it was the first time people had experienced the powerful dandruff eliminator, ZPT. Fifty years later, as the world's No shampoo, Head & Shoulder is still innovating and leading the way in hair care that gives confidence. Clinically tested overtimes, Head & Shoulder is the most tested and most trusted dandruff shampoo.
MARKETING OBJECTIVES
P&G is one of the largest and amongst the fastest growing consumer goods companies in India.
P & G wants to be the biggest brand of India with its diverse products. Its products range from beauty, Grooming, Healthcare, Fabric and home care and Baby, Feminine & Family Care. The company wants its products to reach every part of the India. Procter & Gamble’s mission statement is We will provide branded products and services of superior quality and value that improve the lives of the world’s consumers, now and for generations to come. As a result,
consumers will reward us with leadership sales, profit and value creation, allowing our people,
