Professional Experience:
AIC (Indianapolis, IN) Sept 2013 – March 2014

Senior Systems Analysts

STIGing Linux systems. Wrote the STIG scripts for ESXi 5, as well as RHEL 6, for the USMC in Indianapolis. Fixing issues in the HBSS systems, such as McAfee AV using too much resources, getting EPO to behave nicely, and actually update systems across the network. Build and configure a satellite server to ease updates, as well as a remote rsyslog server to collect all the logs from all the servers. Everything I do is done by scripts that I write to do automation. I created the basis for the USMC Indy to migrate to RHEL 6, and be compliant. My scripts used for ESXi and RHEL5/6 allows the USMC to pass their DISA CCRI. Created PAM profiles to be used with Oracle 11g, Weblogic, and Cognos. Create SELinux rules to allow everything to work together. Modified the SPAWAR SCC installer to run as a network installer, and put the results in shared directory (NAS).

  • Run SRR, SCAP, and Retina scans on machines, to create POAM’s, for DIACAP Compliance.

  • Update the SVN and TRAC to show changes being made, control the builds

  • Manage the RHN account for the project.
