Deliver Comprehensive Braves Game Night Coverage
FSN South is set for its 16th season of live, exclusive coverage of Atlanta Braves baseball as the network begins its regular season coverage on Major League Baseball’s Opening Day – Monday, 4/3 at
4 p.m. ET, when the Braves visit the Los Angeles Dodgers. In 2006, FSN South airs 25 regular season and five (5) spring training game telecasts.
Former MLB manager and MLB on FOX broadcaster Jeff Torborg joins FSN South this season as the network’s telecast analyst, where he works alongside Bob Rathbun, who begins his 10th year as FSNS’s Braves play-by-play voice.
The network’s spring training telecasts get underway on Thursday, 3/23 (1 p.m.), when the Cleveland Indians visit the Braves’ Cracker Jack Stadium in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. (see attached complete season schedule). The regular season telecast schedule showcases 18 Wednesday dates, plus five (5) Friday games and one (1) each Monday and Thursday game.
FSN South’s live, nightly SOUTHERN SPORTS REPORT (10 p.m.) provides Braves spring training coverage throughout March. The SSR moves to 11 p.m., on Saturday, 4/1.
The live, half-hour DODGE BRAVES REPORT pregame show precedes each FSN South regular season Braves telecast and sets up the night’s game, while including in-depth Braves features and topical news on the club and Major League Baseball. Bob Fiscella hosts the DODGE BRAVES REPORT from FSN South’s Atlanta studio, and he’s joined regularly by reporters Katy Temple, Sandy Williams, Sean Pragano and Paul Crane.
The network’s regular season Braves game telecasts include live, postgame coverage from the ballpark, which leads into the SSR at 11 p.m.
