HEALTH CARE REFORM WEB SITE AVAILABLE

A new Web site management by the federal government, HealthCare.gov, launched June 30. Although primarily geared toward consumers, there also is a helpful section geared toward small and large businesses. Check out the section on the most recently implemented provision of health care reform: the Early Retiree Reinsurance Program, that provides $5 billion in financial assistance to employers to help them maintain coverage for early retirees age 55 and older who are not yet eligible for Medicare.

PHCC – GAINS ADDITIONAL TIME FOR THE LEAD CERTIFICATION. New deadline is Oct. 1, 2010. EPA will not enforce against individual renovation workers if the person has applied to, or has enrolled in, a certified renovator class by Sept. 30, 2010. Renovators must complete the training by Dec. 31, 2010.
