Where should we eat?
Here’s a list of restaurants to check out on the Crystal Coast. Right around the Double Tree hotel in Atlantic beach there are not many restaurants. We suggest traveling to Morehead City (7-minute drive) across the bridge to get a wider variety of places to eat. Downtown Beaufort is an excellent place to walk around during your cultural enrichment time, however some of the places are a bit more expensive.

Morehead City--Restaurants below will be a 7-10 minute drive from DoubleTree Hotel:
El’s Drive In: This is the area’s most popular restaurant. One of the most famous ‘drive-in’ restaurants in NC. They serve the “shrimp burger” which is sold at a reasonable price. Cash only. Price: $4-$10
Dank Burrito: They started out as a food truck, but now are a fully functioning restaurant as of 2015. Dank Burrito was awarded Mobile Cuisine’s National Food Truck Rookie of the Year in 2014. Carteret Community College students love this place. Price: $6-10
