Learn Business Continuity Tips For Hurricane Season at Free Webinar WASHINGTON –The devastating effects of a hurricane extends beyond the coastal areas where the storm lands. In recent years, we’ve seen how the impact of storm surge—which is the abnormal rise of water generated by a storm—inflicts widespread damages on communities and small businesses in the hurricane’s path. The 2015 Atlantic hurricane season begins June 1. Is your business prepared for a possible shutdown on the heels of the infrastructure collapse that usually follows a major storm?
