“Scientists investigate that which already is;

We engineers always searching for a new world which is totally electrical and digitalized. On this way we have decided that we need a leading role which will encourage us to create our own world which is fully advanced. As a result we inaugurated IETE(The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers) Student forum which is named as ISF (IETE Student Forum) in our college on January 3^rd 2013. Under the umbrella of this IETE we the ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING (ECE) students want to excel ourselves with new ideas.

IETE (The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication ENGINEERS) is INDIA’s leading recognized professional society developed to the advancements of science and technology, electronics, telecommunication and information technology founded in 1953 which is serving more than 69000 members through 61 centers and sub centers located in INDIA among which Vijayawada centre is one and for which delhi is the main centre. The institution provides leadership in scientific and Technology areas of direct importance to the national development and economy associations of Indian Universities (AIU) has recognized as (AMIETE). Government of India has recognized IETE as a science and industrial research organization (SIRO).

IETE focuses on advancing electrical technology. It conducts and sponsors technical meeting, conferences , symposia and exhibition all over India which has been publishing many technical journals and provides education as well as carrier advancements opportunities to its members.

IETE today is one of the prominent technical education providers in India and is fast expanding its wings across the country through its 61 centers. Over the last 60 years [1953-2013] which is celebrating its Diamond jublee celebrations IETE has expanded its educational activities in the areas of electronics, telecommunication, computer science and information technology.

NOVA IETE STUDENT FORUM:

All the students of ECE DEPARTMENT are very interested in joining the ISF to develop their technical skills and to gain the practical knowledge by excelling themselves in the present competitive world. NOVA ISF is having the total strength of 218 members from final, third and second years of Electronics and Communication Engineering Department.

NOVA ISF is organized and ruled by some of the volunteers who are very capable of handling it and this team is grouped together forming an executive committee. The executive committee of INSTITUTIONAL STUDENT FORUM (ISF) of THE INSTITUTE OF ELECTRONICS AND TELECOMMUNICATION ENGINEERS (IETE) consists a body of six members which includes Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary, and two EC members along with guidance of a coordinator.

INAUGURATION OF IETE IN OUR COLLEGE IS A GRAND PROGRAM WHICH WAS CONDUCTED AS FOLLOWS

With all the invitees the inauguration program was started as per the schedule on January 3^rd 2013. It is our honor to have an inauguration of ISF in the diamond jubilee year of IETE Foundation. IETE student member has given a briefing about the department and the remaining proceeding of inviting guests on to the dais was continued.

Our program had started with prayer song along with lightening the lamp which our tradition is hoping that no obstacles could stop the event and we give our brightness through this ISF to many which resembles the light.

Our ISF coordinator V.V.G.S. RAJENDRA PRASAD initiated the program by his speech in which he mentioned about achievements of ece department and expressed his happiness as NOVA college is going to be a member of IETE family by starting the ISF in ECE DEPARTMENT.

Our Principal Dr. K. RAMAKRSHINAIAH gave an introduction along with the track record of our college and welcomed the guests in a warm way and appreciated the ECE department students and faculty members for initiating such an inspiring event by starting IETE student forum which is folled by the NOVA PG college principal Dr.J.SRINIVAS RAO who also congratulated the ECE department.

Then the chairman of IETE Vijayawada region Dr.M.KAMARAJU took a chance to inspire us by introducing IETE, its objectives, achievements and has given his briefing about the student forum and the flexibility of the students to have an access to the programs conducted by the organization. He also mentioned about the membership details and the usage of this membership in various sectors. He delivered his speech to encourage the students in various aspects such as being innovative and sportive to have creative projects and to use the institution effectively without stopping the ISF with an inauguration ceremony.

The chief guest Dr.P. SIDDHAIH Dean faculty of engineering, ANU College of engineering and technology who is a great veteran had addressed the students in an inspirational way and encouraged us in creating new ideas and promised that he will support each and every engineering student who wants to excel himself. He also requested the IETE chairman to see that maximum number of colleges would join in ISF so that we can build an INDIA whose future is so bright. He appreciated the work done by the department head Rajendra Parasad garu and the encouragement given by the Principal K.Rama Krishnaiah garu for eshtablishing the institutional student forum with IETE. He also felt very happy to deliver his speech in the same department which he belongs and he also congratulated the students who joined their hands in ISF. In his speech he requested Mr. Kamaraju garu to have these institutional student forums in every college so that the value of education and the awareness to the students will be enhanced. With his speech he encouraged the students to be active in acquiring the knowledge and updating their skills through these sort of organizations. Finally he concluded by encouraging the engineering student in which the pride of or India is present.

All the dignitatories along with the student executive committee had launched the NOVA ISF POSTERS, which is followed by the felicitation of the guest by principal, vice principal and HODs.

After launching student forum REGIONAL CHAIRMAN Dr. M. KAMARAJU has introduced the executive committee members to the students by inviting them on to the stage and handed over the ISF poster whishing them a grand success.

Then the NOVA ISF chairman V.SATYA SAI PAVAN KUMAR thanked the chief guest for their valuable guidance and promised that he will make this NOVA ISF as the best student forum in this region and he also mentioned that his committee will conduct as many purposeful events as possible.

Finally the executive committee signed as a token of taking wow of organizing and running the ISF in our college in a professional way and wanted to run this ISF an organization under the guidance of the great people for the excellence of each and every engineering student for the betterment of his or her life .we thank our principal, vice principal and departmental HODs for giving guidance to the ECE students to organize such a great program.
