Basic Carpentary- Carpenter’s tools, their uses, care and maintenance. Types of joints used in carpentary useful for electrician. Lap, Mitre, Tee, Cross, etc. Material used for Joints, screws, nails, glues, etc.
Basic Filters Tools- Hammers, Saws, Punches, Screw drivers, Rawal Punch, pliers, Tongs, Vices, Taps, Dies, Pipe-cutters, Pipe accessories G.I and conduct solders.
Basic Engineering Drawing- Lines, Lettering Projections, Orthographic and Isometric projections, Sketching of hand tools, Elevations, End-views, Sketches of accessories of conduits.
Electric Circuit- Concept of EMF, P.D., Ohm’s Law, Resistance, Resistance in series and parallel, Energy, Power
Elementary Wiring- Wiring Accessories, General information about LT and HT circuits, Bare Copper and Aluminium Copper wire joints.
