PENGEMBANGAN GAME ANDROID CHEMIST TO BE A MILLIONAIRE SEBAGAI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN PADA MATERI

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan bidang pendidikan kimia. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan game android Chemist to be a Millionaire sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi ikatan kimia SMA kelas X dan mengetahui kualitas media pembelajaran tersebut berdasarkan penilaian guru kimia SMA dan peserta didik.
Model pengembangan yang digunakan mengadaptasi model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Produk awal ditinjau dan diberi masukan oleh dosen pembimbing, ahli materi, ahli media/IT, peer reviewer, dan selanjutnya direvisi. Produk hasil revisi dinilai dan diberi masukan oleh reviewer (5 orang guru kimia SMA) dan 25 peserta didik. Penilaian kualitas produk mencakup lima aspek, yaitu aspek materi dan soal, kebahasaan, keterlaksanaan, tampilan audio dan visual, serta rekayasa perangkat lunak menggunakan angket dengan skala Likert. Hasil penilaian dianalisis menggunakan kriteria penilaian ideal untuk menentukan kualitas produk.
Hasil penelitian pengembangan ini adalah game android Chemist to be a Millionaire sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi ikatan kimia SMA kelas X. Game android Chemist to be a Millionaire ini dapat dioperasikan pada mobile phone Android. Berdasarkan penilaian reviewer, skor rata-rata () media pembelajaran Chemist to be a Millionaire adalah 95 (92,4), kualitas sangat baik (SB), presentase keidealan 86,4%. Berdasarkan penilaian peserta didik, skor rata-rata () media pembelajaran Chemist to be a Millionaire adalah 67,9 (13,616,8), termasuk kualitas baik (B), presentase keidealan 80%. Peserta didik menganggap media pembelajaran Chemist to be a Millionaire menarik, menyenangkan, dan menambah ketertarikan dalam mempelajari kimia. Media pembelajaran Chemist to be a Millionaire layak dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran kimia SMA materi ikatan kimia.

THE DEVELOPMENT OF ANDROID GAME “CHEMIST TO BE A MILLIONAIRE” AS LEARNING MEDIA ON CHEMICAL
BONDING FOR SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL GRADE X

ABSTRACT
This research is a development research in the field of chemistry education. The aims of this research were to develop of android game “Chemist to be a Millionaire” as learning media on chemical bonding for Senior High School grade X and to determine the quality of the game by chemistry teachers and students.
The model of the development was adapted from ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. The early product was reviewed and commented by supervisor, theoretical expert, technology and information expert, and three peer reviewers to be revised. The revised product was evaluated and reviewed by five chemistry teachers and 25 Senior High School students. The product quality assessment that had five assessment aspect, i.e. matter and question aspect, linguistic aspect, application aspect, audio and visual appearance aspect, and software engineering aspect using a questionnaire with Likert scale. The result of the evaluation was analyzed using ideal assessment criteria to determine the quality of product.
The result of this development research is the android game of Chemist to be a Millionaire as learning media on chemical bonding for Senior High School grade X. This android game of Chemist to be a Millionaire can be applied on any Android devices. Based on the data collected from the reviewers, the score of Chemist to be a Millionaire is 95 (92,4), categorized as very good quality with ideally percentage of 86,4%. Based on the score from students, this game has score of 67,9 (13,616,8), and categorized as good quality with ideally percentage of 80%. The students said that learning media of Chemist to be a Millionaire is interesting, joyfull, and attractive. This game can be applied as chemistry learning media on chemical bonding subject matter.
