The internship supervisor who did my midterm evaluation was fired and was unable to do my final evaluation so I had to get one of the other supervisors to complete it for me. This is why their rating scales are different.

Personal Evaluation:
Overall, I thought that this internship was a great learning experience. There were so many things done right that helped me enjoy the internship as well as learn a lot. The main thing that made this internship so enjoyable was the people I had the pleasure to work with. I had such a great group of interns that I had fun spending time with and I plan to stay friends with them even after this internship is over. Along with the interns, the staff at Perfect Game Super 25/The Series is incredible. Everyone is so fun to be around and always willing to help you when needed. I definitely have made a lot of connections for the future. The other thing I really liked about this internship is that they let us choose what type of job we wanted to do for the most part. I was able to try out a bunch of different jobs and see which one suited me the best. Scouting was by far my favorite and being able to scout alongside my boss who is a professional scout is just an amazing opportunity. Finally, being specifically chosen by my boss along with three other interns to work the tournament in Florida was an honor. I made even more connections down there with the owners of the company and was able to get experience with working youth baseball at the highest level. However, along with all of these positives there is also a few things that the agency could work on to better the internship experience for the future. The main thing was lack of communication. There were many times when we interns were given very little information on what needed to be done, when it needed to be done, and where. For years to come, the internship supervisor must be clearer when relaying this information. Also, we interns had a few too many bosses. When they would communicate with us we would get different information from each boss. This becomes a problem when you get yelled at by one of the bosses for doing something that a different boss requested (which actually happened to one of the interns). Besides for these few problems it was a very successful internship. The positives definitely outweigh the negatives and am glad I was given the opportunity to work for them this summer. I highly recommend future students to apply for this internship!
