For Immediate Release: Contact: Lydia Miller Marketing Manager Creative Oklahoma, Inc. v: 405.232.5572 www.stateofcreativity.com February 22, 2010 [Artspace] at Untitled to Host Inaugural Creativity World Biennale November 15, 2010 – January 8, 2011 Oklahoma City, OK – [Artspace] at Untitled, a contemporary arts center, is presenting the 2010 Creativity World Biennale November 15, 2010 – January 8, 2011. This event will be at Untitled’s galleries and extends into venues throughout the historic Automobile Alley district. The international exhibition is held in conjunction with Creative Oklahoma’s hosting of the 2010 Creativity World Forum November 15-17, 2010 in Oklahoma City. The Creativity World Forum is an annual event spotlighting world innovation and creativity in commerce, education and cultural. Modeled after the long-running Venice Biennale, the exhibition focuses on the visual arts. It includes the work of twenty-four artists representing each of twelve different Districts of Creativity worldwide. These districts include: Germany, Spain, India, Italy, China, France, Belgium, Finland, Scotland and Oklahoma, which is the only District of Creativity in the United States. The Biennale will also be available as a “virtual museum” on the web. Both [Artspace] at Untitled’s Web site and the Creativity World Forum web site will host 360 degree views of each “art space.” Lectures by international artists will stream on the web during the three month exhibition. “We are very honored to be working with Creative Oklahoma towards the implementation of the first ever Creativity World Biennale,” said Jon Burris, Executive Director of [Artspace] at Untitled and Director for the Biennale. [Artspace] at Untitled is a nonprofit contemporary art center at 1 NE 3rd Street in downtown Oklahoma City committed to stimulating new ideas and creative through contemporary art. Untitled is dedicated to providing access to quality exhibitions, educational programs, performances, and publications and to involving the community in collaborative outreach efforts.
