School of Education Press Release Monmouth University Superintendents’ Academy Holds Panel Discussion, “Implementing the Teacher and Principal Evaluation Models” Wednesday, December 11, 2013: Monmouth University’s Superintendents’ Academy held their second session, “Implementing the Teacher and Principal Evaluation Models”, in Monmouth University’s Multipurpose Activity Center (MAC). The Panel of speakers consisted of Jeanette Baubles, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Plumsted Township School District; Marion Conrad, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction, Township of Ocean Schools; Marybeth Currie, Assistant Superintendent, Holmdel Township Public Schools; Jim Stefankiewicz, Superintendent, Red Bank Regional High School District; and William Zylinski, District Supervisor, Lacey Township School District. After the Panel spoke, participants were asked to fill out an evaluation. The Panel received many positive comments about their presentation. One participant found it “nice to hear different districts experiences and talk about their challenges and how they overcame it”. The majority of participants responded this way. It was great that participants had the opportunity to compare ideas with a plethora of other districts and compare it to their own.
