Principal’s Report 2013-2014

On behalf of the members of STRS and on my own behalf, I extend a warm and cordial welcome to all of you this evening. The academic year 2013-14 has been a very eventful and fruitful one. The year witnessed many milestones of excellent achievements in academics, co-curricular activities, sports and games, which aim at improving the quality of education and all-round development of the students. I feel proud and privileged to present before you a brief report of the achievements of the school for the academic year 2013-14.
The academic year began with the Holy Communion Service on the 19th of May 2013. The service which was led by His Lordship Rt. Rev. Geevarghese Mar Athanasius Episcopa was followed by the Staff Retreat. Orientation programmes for the teachers were held from 20th to 21st May 2013. The resource persons who addressed the teachers were Shri. Alexander Jacob, IPS, Director General of Prisons and Correction Service and Dr. A Abraham, Life Coach and Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistics. Subject oriented classes were also conducted by subject experts.

Classes started for the students in a staggered manner. The students of classes X and XII had special classes from the 6th of May 2013. Regular school began for class VIII upwards on the 22nd of May and by the 7th of June the whole school geared up in full strength.

The school now has a total strength of 3586 spread over 80 divisions from Pre Primary to Class XII.

The Results of the ICSE/ISC 2013 Board Examinations


As in the previous years, the results obtained by our students at the ICSE and ISC 2013 have been excellent. Our students have once again done us proud and it is with a great sense of achievement and pride that I present before you the results obtained by our students.
The school presented 160 students at the ICSE (X) 2013 examination out of which 157 students secured DISTINCTION and three secured FIRST CLASS (> 65 %). Eric Binu Robert came FIRST with 96.7 %. Aishwarya Bose stood SECOND with 96.2 %. Five students Lamia M K, Vaishnav Hutton, Arjun Menon C, Aishwarya Subramanian and Shwetha S V shared the THIRD position with 96 %. 33 students secured 100 % marks in Computer Science and 14 students secured 100% marks in Mathematics.
At the ISC (XII) 2013 Examination also our students excelled in the SCIENCE STREAM. Out of the 99 students presented by us, 86 students secured DISTINCTION and 13 students obtained FIRST class. Padmanabh S Prabhu stood FIRST with 96.75%. Anurag Hari secured the SECOND position with 96.5 % and Arun A Menon and Mariam Elizabeth Varghese shared the THIRD position securing 96.25 %. In the COMMERCE STREAM, out of the 26 students presented by us, 19 students secured DISTINCTION and 6 students obtained FIRST class and one secured the II class.
Geo Zajo stood FIRST with 95.25 %, Kevin Koshy Jacob secured the SECOND position with 93.25 % and Aishwarya Venugopal stood THIRD with 92.5%.
12 students secured 100% in MATHEMATICS and 1 student secured 100% in PHYSICS and BUSINESS MATHEMATICS.
The salient feature of this year’s results is that in both the ICSE and ISC we recorded a significant increase in the class averages of most subjects.

ENTRANCE EXAMINATION RESULTS

The ISC 2013 batch passed out of the school with flying colours and they have distinguished themselves through their creditable performances in various examinations conducted in India. The following are the details:-


All India Engineering Entrance Exam (AIEEE) –2013

The following students have qualified with top ranks in the AIIEE :Anurag Hari, Vinay Damodaran, Adarsh K V,Nikhil George,Arun A Menon and Rejath Simon.


Five of our repeaters Thansi S, Aparna Kurup, Reshma S Pai, Akhil V Mohanan and Mohammed Shahim secured good ranks at the Medical Entrance Exam and have secured admission to various medical colleges.
In the  All Kerala Engineering Exam 2013, the entrance ranks of a few students are as follows : Padmanabh S Prabhu [197],Vinay Damodhar [364], Reuben G Mathew [384],Arun Menon [610], Rejath Simon [923], Arun Aravind [1027], Akash G A[1767], Narendra Mohan[2041], Sagar Krishna[2359], Nikhil George [2912], Sabin Joseph[3015], Akhil V Mohanan[4184] . National Scholarship awarded by Dr.Ambedkar Foundation

S Anu Karthika –ICSE 2013 batch has been short listed for the scholarship awarded by the Dr. Ambedkar Foundation under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. Only 3 students are selected each year at the National level for this scholarship and we are proud of the achievement of our student.

INSPIRE SCHOLARSHIP

Five of our students have qualified and are eligible for the scholarship for Higher Education (SHE) component under the INSPIRE scheme. This is based on their results at the ISC (Class XII) March 2013 Examination as they are among the top 1% achievers at the ISC (Class XII) 2013 Examinations.

Performance in the top 1% in Class XII Board examination and enrolment into education in Basic and Natural Science courses at the B.Sc/Integrated M.Sc. or M.S levels will make them eligible automatically for a Scholarship for Higher Education awarded by the Government of India valued at Rs. 80,000 per year for five years.

Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana

The “ Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana” (KVPY) is a programme started in 1999 by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India to encourage students of Basic Sciences, Engineering and Medicine to take up research careers in these areas. The aim of the programme is to identify and encourage talented children with aptitude for research. The programme strives to assist students to realize their potential and ensure that the best scientific talent is developed for research and growth in the country. Generous scholarship and contingency grants are provided upto the Pre-Ph.D level to the selected students.


I am happy to announce that our Head Boy Ashok Suresh Das has qualified for the KVPY scholarship.
Luke P Idiculla (XI) and Divya Mary Varghese (XI) have qualified for the first level written examination and will be appearing for the final interview in January 24th.

A survey was conducted by the premier marketing, research and polling organization C Fore, Delhi and based on this survey “Education World” has ranked our school as second best school among all the boarding schools in Kerala.

All Kerala ICSE/ISC Athletic Meet
At the All Kerala ICSE/ISC Athletic Meet in which 1200 children spread over 64 schools in the State participated, our school secured the overall championship trophy both in the boys and girls category at the Junior Level. In the Senior Level, our boy’s team secured the overall championship trophy.
Arjun S Kumar of Class XII was adjudged the Individual Champion in the ISC Boys Category and Gayathri Devi of Class VIII was adjudged the Individual Champion in the ICSE Girls Category.

NAVEEN ROY of Class X, our badminton player, has carved his place in the halls of fame by excelling in this field and securing the following prizes:

  • Winner – under  17 – Boys Singles – Oxford Badminton Championship,Trivandrum

  • Runner Up – Under 17 Junior Boys Singles –All Kerala Junior Badminton Championship, Trivandrum

  • Third Prize: Junior Boys- Singles- Kerala State Junior Badminton Championship-Kottayam

  • Third Prize- Junior Boys- Singles- All Kerala Junior Ranking Tournament, Calicut

At  present, he is the Rank -3 Junior Player of Kerala
Atul Dev Sony of Class V won the runners up trophy in the Badminton Championship conducted by Technopark. He also won the runners up trophy in the Championship conducted by Oxford schools.

Akash S A won the First Position in the Under -12 Boys Tennis Tournament conducted by the Kerala Tennis Association.

Jerrin George James and Sankarnath S of Class XII won the 1st prize and Eric Binu Robert and Jobin J Chaman of Class XI won the 3rd prize in the Quiz conducted by NIT Calicut.

Sidharth J and Bishnu R won the 1st Prize in the State Level at the Wild Life Quiz conducted by United Nations in Delhi.

Vishakh S of Class X won the following prizes in various competitions:


  • Gold medal in the National Genius Search Examination, he scored 90.14%

  • The 1st rank in the State and 13th rank in the National level and won a cash prize of Rs. 3000/- in the National Scholarship Test conducted by TIME.

At the Dr. A.V. Varghese Memorial Oratorical Contest held on July 4th 2013 for Malayalam and English, first introduced in 1983, this unique competition is exclusively meant for St. Thomas Schools. In this competition our school bagged all the three prizes in English. The prize winners are:

In the FIIT JEE Talent Reward Examination, Ashwini A Kumar was the Zonal Level topper and Samiksa M stood second at the zonal level in the Science category. Ashwin also won the third place in the overall category.
CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

We have students with varied talents, abilities and interests. To hone their skills, our school offers ample opportunities through co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Our students participated and secured prizes in various important competitions held within the school and outside.


Santhome Fest

The Santhome Fest was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by last years Individual Champions and the Principal. The Competitions were held for two days in Light Music, Classical Music, Ganamala, Declamation, Mime, Rhythmania, Burn the Floor, Static Stances etc All the programmes showcased the brilliant talents of our students. The Green house and was adjudged the champion house at the fest.

Sports and Games

Our students participated in various sports and games competitions held within the school and elsewhere. In keeping with tradition, our students have excelled in track and field events. Our three Physical Education Teachers have been a tremendous source of encouragement and inspiration for our students. Under their able guidance and effective coaching, our students have done well in the sports events conducted at the District, State and National level Competitions.


Annual Athletic Meet

The Annual Athletic Meet was conducted on the 10th October 2013. The Yellow house was adjudged the Champion House of the meet. The Meet was inaugurated by the Mr. N V Nishad Kumar (National Athletic Coach, SAI). The Chief Guest of the Closing Ceremony was Dr. Shyalaja Mohan, Associate Professor, LNCPE. At the meet, the following students secured the overall championship in various Categories:

Other Competitions:


  • SAN REVO 2013, an interschool competition, was organized by the Class XII students on 15th June 2013. STRS was witness to a spectacular display of talents by participants of twelve different schools. The show featured seven competitions Trivandrum International School emerged the Champions and St. Thomas Central School were the runners up.

  • At the La Fest 2013 an event hosted by the Loyola School, our students performed extremely well, bagging the SECOND runners up trophy

  • Our school bagged the Runners Up trophy at the Colosseum 2013 hosted by STCS.

  • 30 of our students participated for the District Level UCM competition (United Christian Movement). Our ISC team won the 1st prize and our High School team won the 2nd prize in the Bible Quiz competition. We won 7 rolling trophies including an Overall performance trophy.

  • In the YMCA bible quiz competition conducted in connection with the Children’s day, in which 30 teams participated, our team from St. Thomas Schools won the 2nd place and an award of Rs. 2000/-

  • Krishnanand A K of Class XI won the First Position in the Elocution Competition conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Trivandrum

  • Rejira K Robi of class XII won the following prizes:-

  • First Prize in the Painting Competition conducted by the Department of Museum and Zoo

  • First Prize in the Painting competition conducted in connection with Kerala Science Congress

  • First Prize in the Painting competition conducted by the Election Commission of India

  • First Prize in Painting Competition conducted by the Sri Avittam Thirunal Trust

  • Second prize in the painting competition conducted by Kerala Museum and History Heritage

  • She even qualified at the zonal Balashree camp and participated in the Creative Art Competition held at National Bal Bhavan, New Delhi.


The Foundation for Capacity Building in Science (FCBS), Trivandrum, is an autonomous non-profit organization devoted to strengthening and furthering the cause of science education in India. The trust was established by Prof. CNR Rao. FCBS classes are conducted for students having a special interest in and an aptitude for science. 12 students of Class XI attended a seminar conducted by the FCBS on November 15th 2013.
Olympiad Examination

Six of our students gave a commendable performance in the second level 2012 Olympiad Examinations.


National Olympiads

At the National Olympiad Exam conducted by Science Olympiad Foundation, a total of 1400 students participated from classes 5 – 12



  • At the 10th Inter National Cyber Olympiad, Ashok Suresh Das secured the II rank at the International Level and was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 25,000/-. The Award was given by the former Chief Justice of India. R.C. Lahoti at New Delhi.

  • Vishakh S of Class X won the:

    • 2nd Rank in the State in the International Maths Olympiad

    • 4th Rank in the State in the National Science Olympiad and

    • 8th Rank in the State in the National Cyber Olympiad

Rohan Naryanan got the FIRST rank in the State level IMO examination and won the gold medal. Visakh S secured the second rank in the state level examination. They also won cash awards of Rs. 5000/- and Rs. 2500/-. Both Vaibhav Vinu and Anita Mathew got the silver medal in the International English Olympiad Examination by securing the second rank.

Faculty Improvement Programmes

Providing quality education for all-round personality development has been the mission of institution. Commitment to quality, innovation and continuous improvement in education are our guiding values.

A number of orientation and training programmes are organized to keep the teachers abreast of the recent trends in methodology of the teaching-learning process in various areas and subjects. Orientation programmes for content enrichment, methodology and evaluation are organized from time to time to orient and train teachers in academic as well as life-skills like effective communication, stress management, time management and personal efficiency. Guest lectures are arranged regularly where eminent people from different walks of life address and guide the teachers and students on various subjects and recent trends in the field of education.


  • Mrs. Anitha John, Mrs. Jincy Baby, Mrs.Annie J Thompson, Mrs. Mariamma Cherian, Mrs. Seline Royce, Mrs. Lakshmi Devi and Mrs. Sunu Jose attended a seminar in Mathematics conducted by the Macmillan Publishers.

  • The Vice Principal Mrs. Zarina Thomas and Meena P S attended the seminar that was conducted in Christ Nagar School by the British Council for enrolling at the International School Awards (ISA)

  • Mrs. Retna Elizabeth Mathew and Mrs. Teena Tiji attended the Cambridge English Teachers Support Workshop

  • Mrs. Meenakshi G K and Mrs. Bindu S attended a one day seminar on teaching and evaluation of Chemistry at ICSE classes

  • Mrs. Reshma Surendran and Mrs. Subha R B attended a workshop for Hindi teachers.

The Student Council

The Student Council is a body of elected members who have leadership qualities and organizational skills. This is to ensure a sense of democracy among the students. It plays a role as a liaison between the students and the school administration. The council comprises of school leaders, prefects and class monitors. The Investiture ceremony was held on 04-07-2013. The office bearers and the Prefects were invested with the epaulettes and the badges by the Principal Ashok Suresh Das and Achu Vinod Thomas both of class XII was selected as the Head Boy and Head Girl respectively. The Principal at the very solemn ceremony conducted on this day also administered the oath of office. The ceremony came to a close with the Prayer and Benediction by the School Chaplain Rev. Joseph John.


School Assemblies

School Assemblies are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There is maximum student participation at these assemblies, which have gone a long way in helping students perfect their organizational skills, oratorical abilities and their team spirit. At these assemblies students are called at random to come up on to the dais to present the editorial, to read the news and to sum up the proceedings of the assembly. Mondays are earmarked for Class Assemblies, Wednesday for Value Education and Friday for Public Speaking. Each class puts up its assembly based on a theme. Each student in the class has some role to play. The school assemblies have therefore served as a platform for students to improve their general awareness and communication skills.


School Choir

The junior choir comprising of students from classes V – VII and the senior choir comprise of students from classes VIII – XII enliven the school assembly. The services provided by Mr. Bejoy Mathew, the choirmaster is truly commendable. He gives regular practice to the school choir. We are greatly indebted to him.

Onam Celebrations

Onam was celebrated with great fervor. The students participated enthusiastically in the Thumbi Thullal , Thiruvathira, Onam songs, Athapoovu Competition etc . The Secretary of the MTCES, Mr. P.M.Abraham graced the occasion with his presence.



Christmas Celebrations

Christmas was celebrated on 20th December 2013 in traditional manner with Carol singing, the Nativity scene and Santa Claus. The Christmas message was given by our School Chaplain Rev. Joseph John. The collection made for both these functions will be given to charity, as has been the practice in the previous years



Other Activities

  • Children’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm. Each division also brought out class Magazines. These magazines help students in developing their abilities in working as a team. Selected articles that feature in these magazines are used in the school magazines also. Class Proficiency prizes were distributed on the Children’s day. Children wore coloured dresses.

  • The Fun Streak and the Food Festival was held on the 23rd November 2013.

  • Cleanliness Week was also observed in connection with Gandhi Jayanthi.

  • Study tours were also organized for classes V, VII, and IX

  • Various programmes and activities were conducted in connection with the Gandhi Jayanthi Celebrations this year.

  • Accent Training in English was held for the students of Class VII

  • The traffic club conducted a programme on traffic awareness for its members on 30-11-2013 which was addressed by Mr.C Niyas (Circle Inspector of Police, Traffic)


English week was observed in October to drive home to the students, the importance of English as the language of communication in the present day world. Various competitions and programmes were organized in connection with this, throughout the week.

Social Service

In the present day where people live increasingly selfish lives, they cease to care for those less privileged than themselves. Keeping this in mind, in order to instill in students the need for helping and being compassionate to those in need, we have engaged in the following activities.




  1. Contribution to Uttarakhand Flood Relief Fund

  2. A free medical camp was being organized by us at the Govt. UP School, Chandavila for children and parents in the local community. Our NCC students and other student volunteers participated wholeheartedly with the doctors who were present on that day.

  3. We also provided Medical aid to needy persons on the school campus

  4. Educational Merit cum Means Scholarships were provided for deserving students.

  5. An Outreach programme was organized by our School in coordination with the other schools on the campus to provide coaching to students of neighbouring Government schools during the Summer Holidays. The feedback received from these students has been overwhelming.


PRIMARY SECTION

The primary section of STRS has 963 students on roll at present. Classes began for classes II to IV on June 3rd and school reopened for class I students on June 5th after a preliminary meeting with the parents and students in the school auditorium on June 4th.



Co- Curricular activities

The Santhome Kids’ Fest was conducted in a systematic manner. The winners were awarded trophies and certificates during the school assemblies.

As is the practice assemblies were conducted on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays regularly. The Class assemblies which were held on Tuesdays helped students develop their skills in organizing and public speaking.

The Santhome Kids’ Choir : The choir has 30 -35 members selected from Class and the choir actively participated in all school assemblies.



The C.S.S.M:

The children’s special service mission took 40 minute sessions for each standard in the chapel during the month of October. The children enjoyed the sessions listening to good stories and learning new songs. The C.S.S.M also held an assembly for the students of classes I to IV together.


Other Celebrations

Onam, Christmas and Children’s day celebrations were conducted in the Primary Section. These celebrations are unique as we ensure the participation of the whole class in each of these programmes. 243 students of Class IV participated in the Children’s day programme and 254 students of Class III participated in the Christmas programme. Around 500 students of Classes I and II actively participated in the Onam Celebrations.


Quiz competitions:

We have quite a good number of talented quizzers . In the quiz competition that was held in the STRS auditorium. The following students were awarded trophies and certificates:

Gautham.S.Krishnan, Abhinav.B, Harigovind.P, Verite Kishore, Andrew James Mathew, Anoop Nair, Suryakanth Krishnaprasad and Pranav.P.Nair.

Sports and Games: The students of classes I to IV participated actively in sports and games and put up a good show at the Annual Athletic Meet. 42 students were taken for Asianet Talent sports which was conducted in LNCPE at Kariavattom.

Pre Primary Section

The Pre Primary section buzzed with activity from the 3rd of June 2013 onwards. We have students from the three schools on the campus with about 950 students with 22 divisions of which 4 are at the Kumarapuram Campus. Children study in the play way method and they are not put to any stress. Learning for our students is an enjoyable experience each child is given ample opportunity to develop his potential to the fullest extent. To mention a few of our activities, a talent display was organised which included singing, recitation and instrumental music where the talents of our little masters astounded everyone. Assemblies are conducted twice a week. Independence Day and Children’s day were also celebrated. The children are evaluated and assessed periodically and from August, the selections for the Annual Athletic Meet were conducted. A Parent Teachers Meetings were also held on a regular basis Onam, Children`s Day and Christmas were celebrated. Medical check ups were also conducted for the PP I students.



Play School

The play school is functioning in full strength and a good number of little ones are waiting for admission to the Primary section of the St. Thomas Schools. The school provides environmental friendly learning through Creative play, Music, Art and Story Telling.


Value Education

In order to instill in students the right values and approach to life Value Education classes are held every Wednesday during the zero period by the class teachers. Every year the school follows a theme which each student tries to adhere to The theme of the year 2011 – 2012 was “Respect for Others” in 2012-2013 it was “Punctuality”. The theme for this academic year (2013-2014) is “Discipline”. At the assemblies as well as in class, students are given the opportunity to speak on the topic and to discuss various aspects of the topic.



Career Guidance

The Career Care Centre started off this term with a two week individual counselling session for the 12th Standard students by Mrs Betty Ninan, School Career Counsellor. During these sessions the students were given information on the various career possibilities, details of various colleges and procedures for applying.

The other programmes conducted by the Career Care Centre are :


  • National  Defence Academy : Guidance program was conducted by at team of Ex-Students where all aspects of the NDA Entrance including Written Test, Physical test and Psychological test were dealt with.

  • National Law School: Bangalore passout, Anjali Anchayil(STRS 2009-2010) talked to the students of Commerce and Humanities on the prospects and opportunities in Law. As she had also qualified for IIT Humanities Entrance [Madras], she was also able to address students queries regarding preparation and planning for the Entrance.

  • Animation : Predicted to be the next boom sector , Mr. Rajeev Kumar CEO of Reliance AMC , Pattom team gave a presentation to the students on the prospects of Animation as a career.

  • Alumni who have achieved in National level Entrances have played a crucial role in motivating students to pursue similar paths.

  • An Orientation class for the 11th girl students on the need to adjust in a group, how to study and copy with stress etc. was held.

  • Aptitude tests for STRS ,Class X students was conducted in the Second week of October and Individual Counselling commenced from the second week of November. Not only careers but also time management and stress related issues were handled during these sessions.

  • Notification for all Entrance Exams and other courses were put up in all the notice boards

  • Various issues related to studies, stress, timetable setting and subject choices for the 11th standard were discussed. Problems brought forth during the counselling were addressed.

Counselling

Counselling is also given to the slow learners, children with attention deficit disorder and other personal problems, by the School Counsellor by Ms Hannah Moncy, the School Counsellor. She also takes classes in Life Skills Education in classes V to VII.

We are very grateful to both Ms Betty Ninan George and Ms Hannah Moncy Kakkassery for the painstaking services rendered to our students.

Entrance Oriented Exams

Two sets of entrance oriented exams were conducted in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology for the students of Classes XI and XII to familiarize them with method of answering entrance exams.



Remedial Classes: Students requiring remedial coaching were identified immediately after the First Mid Term Examination. These students were given remedial coaching according to a fixed timetable during the zero periods. The parents were also informed. Whenever the students failed to make much progress the parents were called for a discussion with the Principal, Headmistress and the Teacher concerned. In certain cases these students were also sent to the school Counsellor.

Staff

We have a committed band of 116 teachers and 11 administrative staff and supportive staff. With their spirit of dedication and guidance we are able to attain our desired objectives and set targets.



Staff Resignation

Mrs. Chinamma George, Mr Jaya Prasad, Mrs. Dipu Varghese, Mrs. Anita Thomas who served as teachers in our school have resigned.


New Appointments

The following teachers joined the school this year –Mr. Vijay Krishnan ,Mrs. Usha R Nair, Mrs.Sita P, Mrs.Bindu P, Ms. Ancy Jacob, Mrs. Rachel Thomas, Mrs. Mary Cherian.

On behalf of the Santhome Fraternity, I wish them a happy and prosperous tenure here.
NCC

Our Troop comes under No:1 (K) AIR SQN NCC Pettah, Thiruvananthapuram with a strength of 100 cadets. Cadets were selected from the 8th Standard. Boys and Girls (Junior Division). The period of Cadetship in Junior Division is 2 years. Parades are conducted and drill was taught. Classes are taken on Principles of Flight, Aeromodelling, AeroEngine, Ecology, Organisational Structure of Air Force, weapons etc with Flag saluting and hoisting on ceremonial days.

The Cadets attended the Annual Training Camp, National (Trekking Camp, Integration Camp etc) through which they get leadership qualities , learn how to explore their potential and also get experience in adventurous activities like rock climbing, Firing, Rope Climbing, crossing the canal, Mountaineering etc. The cadets were given flying experience in Microlite Aircraft.

Mrs. Sandhya V S has taken over as Associate NCC Officer. This is the first time that a lady teacher is taking charge of the NCC unit in the school.
Scripture Contest

A Scripture Contest was conducted by MTCES in November 2013, in which a total of 380 students participated from our school. In the Christian Category , Sarah Esther Christian of Class VII of our school and in the Non Christian Category, Meenakshi S Hari of Class VII were the top scorers. The winner will get a fee scholarship for one year.

Inter House Competitions

To nurture the talents and skills of our students various inter-house competitions are held every year. In the Inter House English Debate competition Yellow House emerged the winners, and Red House were the winners in the Malayalam Debate Competition.

In the English Drama Competition, Green House emerged the winners. In Malayalam Drama, Yellow House came first.
