Welcome to Rugby Swimming Club which was founded in 1971.
Rugby Swimming Club has three sections, a Pre-competitive section (teaching), Speed Section and Masters Section governed by the ASA (Amateur Swimming Association”) of governing body.

Rugby Swimming Club Fees
RSC Fees are ‘all-inclusive’ of Club Membership Fee, ASA Membership Fee and monthly pool and coaching fees (see Fee Structure and Training Timetable enclosed).
As a swimmer within Speed your payment options are either:

£16.00 per month (one session a week)
£29.00 per month (two sessions a week) ‘Club Swim’
£35.00 per month (three sessions a week) ‘Development’
£42.00 per month (five sessions a week) ‘Performance’
£45.00 per month (any of 9 sessions a week) ‘Elite’

There is an initial joining fee of £15.00 to cover your ASA Insurance to ensure you are insured to swim and cover you for ASA competitive categories this should be paid with your first month’s fees.

Rugby Swimming Club Membership

The information provided on the membership form will be used solely for the purposes of processing your application and dealing with you as a member.

Please ensure you include a current email address, telephone numbers, emergency contact numbers and notify us of any medical conditions.

Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) Membership

Membership of the ASA is mandatory for all swimmers. Membership of the ASA covers Personal Accident Insurance as well as various other membership benefits which can be found on the ASA website www.swimming.org.

Standing Order Mandate

The monthly fees must be paid on the 1^st of each month by Standing Order Mandate. Please set up the standing order using the below details:

Club Kit

As swimmers progress, they will need the following equipment for training:

1) Kick Board 2) Pull Bouy 3) Drinks Bottle (1 litre) 4) Fins (short nosed) 5) Mesh Bag (net)
All the above equipment can be purchased online, for example via Amazon or Swimshop.co.uk.
Swimming hats are available to order via James, Devesh or Sandra Kelleher (Membership Secretary).

All upcoming events, competitions and results are emailed out and can be found on the notice board at Rugby School Sports Centre. Please ensure you check the notice board and your emails.

The club is run by volunteers who are mainly the parents of current or former swimmers. Please indicate whether you would consider supporting the club and if so what sort of help you would like to offer. All help is appreciated. Guidance/training is given.	Please tick

Application and Consents

Selection for competition	I agree to represent the club in competitions if selected and available.
Video recording of swimmers (under terms of Child Protection Act)	I give the club’s coaches (or representatives) permission to make video recordings of the above swimmer solely for the purpose of training swimmers and coaches and on the understanding that no tapes or data will be distributed to any other party.
Photography	I agree to photographs being taken of the above swimmer, by club representatives, in club activities and to those photographs being used for club publicity purposes.
Data Protection	I acknowledge that the club may hold and maintain computer records related to members solely in connection with their membership of the club.
Drug Testing Declaration	I will comply with the regulations regarding the misuse of drugs and I confirm that I am willing to undergo a drug test in accordance with ASA law on Drug Testing.
Membership and squad fees (monthly teaching & squad fees are due until a resignation letter is received by the committee)	I will arrange to pay monthly fees by monthly standing order on the first of each month and will alter payments at the start of the required month in the event of any changes agreed by the committee. I apply for membership of Rugby Swimming Club.
