DISPERSAL SALE FOR D & P WRAYFORD This is an attractive sale of all the breeding cattle of Messrs D & P Wrayford of Kingsteignton, Newton Abbot, who are reducing their farming activities. The Wrayfords have been forming for over 100 years and some of the cows have been bred from stock descending from that period. All the Cows are being sold PD in calf except those sold as running with bull. Those PD in calf are due to calve from 13th January 2010 to 28th April 2010 and the Bull ran with the others until 29th May 2010. All the Cows reared Calves this year and calved unaided. It is a policy to cull animals that need attention and foot trimming has not been necessary. They are also chosen for their polling characteristics, 8 of the Cows being naturally polled. The Cows are usually calved at around 2 years of age. Herd Health TB tested on 22.9.2009. Blue Tongue Vaccinated on 15th April 2009. Vaccinated with bovivacs and rotavec corona (vaccination against calf scour).
